Congratulations to Amy Ecklund who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Daytime Drama for her portrayal of Abby on Guiding Light.
She was voted Outstanding Female Actress in a Supporting Role at the "Daytime Webbie Awards".
She was also named one of Soap Opera Weekly's "50 Most Beautiful People in Daytime" in the March 3rd, 1998 issue.
Guiding Light was named the best soap opera of the 1997 by "Soap Opera Digest" and "TV Guide".
Amy Ecklund was honored by "Soap Opera Weekly" in their section for her performance during the week of August 25. This was the week Abby was almost raped. Ecklund did an excellent job playing the part. She was also praised by "Soap Opera Magazine" in their section.
