Twin Peaks is, as the image
of Cooper and Truman above reads, "TV too good for TV."
Regretably, I was introduced to TP backwards. I came
across Fire Walk With Me in the rental racks at
the local Hastings. It was only 50 cents, so I grabbed
it. I had no idea what I had just discovered. What I
found when I first saw it was film like I have never seen
before. I've always been fascinated by the whole shadowy
small town, something to hide, thing. So, before I knew it,
I was hunting the episodes. Unfortunately, however, I
already knew who killed Laura Palmer. That did take some
of the suspense out of it, but I still absolutely adored
David Lynch's universe. If you have never seen any of
Twin Peaks, I strongly recommend it.
