September 4th 2005 - Marshals on other side of the Law! Just like in the old west where guns ruled the law sometimes found themselves to be just as bad as the outlaws. In a report released today by the WPD that stated a few players (as many as 7) were involved at a altercation at a local strip club in Waco called "Two Minnies" apperently after the Marshals home opener drubbing of the Milwaukee Panthers some of the players took the celebration out of the locker room and headed to "Two Minnies" where the alleged altercation with the strip clubs bouncers happened, it is alleged that things were going fine with the players having a few cocktails and maybe just a few to many then things got out of hand "the boys were just having a good ole time whooping it up and tipping well then half past midnight they started getting a bit rowdy and 1 of the players , I think it was Big Show (Barry Niesen ,325 lb offensive lineman) decided to do a bit of entertaining himself when he went up on center stage and stripped down to his scivvies and started pole dancing for the patrons,it wasn't a pretty sight so when bouncers tried to get him off the stage all hell broke out and and bodies started to fly." quoted Jenny Juggs ( Two Minnies fan favorite). It was reported by the WPD that Jenny Juggs story may have been a bit far fetched and that only a minor scuffle happened and that at the moment no charges were being pressed. The 7 players named in the altercation were OL Barry Niesen, DE Adonis Nunn, RB Anthony Evans, FS Butch Smalter, WR Jimmy Stahl, OLB Bill Dvoracek and MLB Jackson Wenberg. When asked about the altercation Jackson Wenberg replied with "that Jenny Juggs...NICE". Head coach Major Apllewhite was unavailable for comment.

August 29th 2005 - Berry's request denied ! Earlier in the week afeter learning he would not be leading the Marshasl in the season opener Dylan Berry requested to be traded. In a press conference today headcoach Major Applewhite said there is at the present no plan to move the talented third year pro Berry. "Its unfortunate that we have some issues before the season even starts, Dylan is a very talented QB who has performed as well or even better in some areas as starting QB Billy Simon, but the harsh truth to the matter is that in only 2 preseason games its hard to determine who will give us the best shot at winning and at the moment myself and the staff feel that Simon gives us the best chance to win, we are very lucky to have 2 guys that can play their abilities are so close its really hard to sperate the 2. Simon has a slightly stronger arm but Berry seems to have a better grasp of the offense, since we only have 2 QBs on or current roster I will have to deny Mr. Berry's request of a trade." said Major Applewhite.
