Student ready to make good on offer to learn how to make tacos

TOKYO, Japan (GTA) -- Former eikaiwa student Miyako Watanabe is expected to reunite with former instructor Natasha Parks. The 24-year old bentoo assembly worker announced that it was time to make good on a promise long overdue.

"Tacos. First you put the ground beef in the shell. Then, you put the lettuce. Next, add some cheese. Finally top off with some tomatoes," Miyako stated. "Natasha promised to teach me a really great homemade taco taste if I'm ever in Toronto."

Natasha Parks, now a mother of 2 children, formerly taught English conversation at Gaba for a 4 month period in 2002. Although she did not want to be interviewed, she did suggest that there may have been some misunderstanding over a figure of speech or expression from the book.

"I'm sorry. I don't know the 'figure of speech' meaning," explained Miyako. "Is that some thing that is lie to people?"

"Like when Natasha told me 'affect' and 'effect' are same meaning but promised to check. Figure speech again? In any case, that is not the matter."

"I wonder why you even left me in the first place? Before you left, you suggest to me to watch 'Ally My Love', so I bought the DVD set. But I am never watched because I want us to watch together. Of course, maybe Ally is not number American best TV drama."

"I often listen to song from The Carpenters called Superstar. Sometimes it is a lyrics which speaks to us. Because, long ago and far away. I fell in love with you. But now you're not really there? Natasha?"

"The bass sound is going down and down and I fall down and down, further, until I there's a deep, dark abyss. I'm smothered in a endless decent to the darkest of hells. Suddenly, Richard changes to chorus and it is a happiest time. When music changes it's a feeling like my mind is suddenly filled with happiness and this is where I can meet Natasha anytime. It's world like a music and feeling at GAP. I can speak to Natasha for hours. I am telling you jokes. Oh, we have same haircut now, please don't be mad."

"Don't you remember you told me you love me, baby? You said you'd be coming back this way again, baby."

"Now, we will make tacos. First, put the ground beef in the shell. Then, put on some lettuce. After that, add some cheese. Top off with some tomato. Voila. It's that simple, Natasha."
