Attempt to make ECC Gotanda the 'Best School in Japan'

TOKYO, Japan (GTA) - Tammy Hill arrived with only her no-nonsense attitude and an unorthodox approach full of youthful idealism.

"When I got here, I heard ECC Gotanda was ranked like 20th in the ECC chain. I thought 'That's a load of doo-doo!' Let's turn this school into a super awesome juggernaut!"

"I wanted to make ECC Gotanda the best branch of all. But I the response I got was pretty lukewarm. One stupid boy teacher told me that ECC was just an enormous inconvenience in his day. Ugh, boys are so stupid!”

"Tammy printed up a super lame list of ten goals like 'Always strive to be better!' and 'Make each lesson a filet-mignon'," Tammy's co-worker John Schultz responded.

"Although that wasn't as bad as when she started writing a new inspirational quote each week on the break room white board."

"The worst was when she gave us a big speech to the foreign staff about what professionalism means,” co-worker Paul Anthony recalled. "If I wanted to be all "professional," I wouldn't be in this country trying to score with Japanese girls."

Redemption has come slowly but surely for Tammy as Gotanda has grown to become the 17th largest school in ECC. She doesn't want to measure success strictly in terms of sales figures.

"I've come to realize that it is not all about meeting sales goals,” Tammy explained. “It is also about, we as English teachers, ensuring we have a break room that is not about making fun of particular students. That is one big issue I strongly believe in. I do not want to associate with such people who seem to take great pleasure in running others down.”

"Tammy's always leaving the room with her pouty face whenever me and Paul start goofing on this one bloke who has a habit of punching himself when ever he gets stuck in m-mm-mmm... (slaps face three-times to imitate student)...mid-sentence." John said.

"Well, take away that and me and Paul really don't have all that much to talk about."
