Deflationary economy continues to dampen Gaba salary's "competitive" spirit

Competitive salary bravely continues to "hang in there" and not give up

SAPPORO, Japan (GTA) -- Although, having a fiercely competitive nature, the Gaba Competitive Salary was only able to squander a "moral victory" in 2006 when it edged out deflation by a final score of
Gaba Competitive Salary +0% to Deflationary Price Drop -0.3%

Despite the triumph, there was little to celebrate on behalf of Gaba's Competitive Salary.

The Gaba Competitive Salary, known for its scrappy-like and underdog persona, has bravely maintained a stiff upper lip along in the midst of an extremely traumatic five-year stagnation.

Lacking its famous superhuman stamina, the Gaba Competitive Salary has recently been described by insiders as "extremely exhausted" and "thoroughly demoralized" by its inabilty to overcome what appears to be a stonger and superior opponent in deflation.

With Japan's economy experiencing 0.3% deflation rates in 2006, economists now predict deflation to remain unchanged in 2007.

If the trend continues, the Gaba Competitive Salary and its famous indefatigable resolve could be in continue to struggle, according to top market analysts.

According to one source who took a semester of microeconomics, the Gaba Competitive Salary is obviously doing the best it can at 1350 yen under the circumstances, and that people should not expect "any miracles" from happening in the near future, unless the Bank of Japan takes drastic action with interest rates.

Of course, teachers can still find solace in what economists refer to as a "2006 Deflationary Bonus," which, in economics, occurs when an all-around 0.3 percent drop in prices is factored into a worker's general income.
