I have tried to present the story in a way that roughly approximates the way in which players will experience it.
Pandemonium Epic begins in three places. Players may take up these beginnings in any order.
The entire story is set in various areas of the great Industrial City of Ing. The general setting is somewhat science fiction: big concrete and steel buildings, impersonal government, ugly grey robots, and practically no greenery. Although there are some magicians, those directly mentioned in the story are the only ones in the City.
A young warrior finds his already impoverished community threatened with total destitution.
An ordinary girl comes home on her birthday to find her father missing.
An Illusionist Apprentice is sent by his master to retrieve a powerful artifact.
