Mr. Grenda has a MA in History from the University of Delaware. Mr. Grenda has only been here since January, when his predecessor, Mrs. Lynette Edwards, moved to Kentucky. He currently teaches the classes she was going to teach for the second semester. We are glad to have him with us!



US History CP/HN

This course is a survey or American History with emphasis on the period from the Civil War to the present. Class discussions, projects, and audiovisual material will be used. This course is designed for the college-bound student.

The major area to be covered will be economics (Free Enterprise System, Comparative Economics). Research will be an essential part of the program.

Contemporary Political Issues

A brief overview of the post WW II through the early 1960's will be provided as background to the more contemporary period. The primary focus will be to examine those historical, political, social, and economic topics and events that have influenced the United States and the global community.
