Bio
After the oh-so-agonizing break up of Down To None, Rob and AJ decided to do a new project that didn't suck ball. After forming, writing a few songs, and deciding on the name Drain This Blood, they got Jeremy and Matt to round out the line up. They pulled 5 songs out of nowhere and did a demo that, looking back on, wasn't so hot. It was pretty awesome though because it was an enhanced CD with live videos on it and shit. If you have one of these, you're pretty much awesome. A small summer tour accompanied several out-of-town weekend stints, but nothing major came out of it. Corey then joined the band while in the midst of writing a new EP. Drain This Blood put out the Contempt For Tradition EP after going into the studio with Eric Klinger on the controls. A deal with True Destiny Records--out of Texas-- was signed and a tour was mapped out for the summer of 2004. A vinyl version of the EP was released on Flatspot Records out of Virgina as well. Everything was starting to go very well for Drain This Blood until certain members decided on wanting to take the next step while others simply couldn't commit. Not feeling that replacing members was appropriate, Drain This Blood decided to simply call it quits. Their last show was ridiculous good and the EP/7" are still selling copies to this day.
