Other things to do

Vote for the Green Party - for now...

Protest the war
- Fight the system. It is only by virtue of our collective aquiscence that the system perpetuates itself.

Organize - There are so many issues why not make one your own? After you have immersed yourself in how the system really works you will realize the issues are not the problem.

Party - This idea may take time for you to digest fully. In the meantime I recommend you find the time to party. The more you party the more you will realize the truth. By party I mean, get out of your box and out of your rut and go live. Being with others in a loving environment will enlighten you. A loving environment is one without religion or reprimand or judgement of any kind. It is pure trust. And trust is what it is really all about. We were meant to love each other and trust each other unconditionally. Until that day comes we will be slaves to our own ungodly fears and those who take advantage of them, ie our so called 'leaders'.

My Philosophy

1st Principle: The Codification of principle is the antithesis of principle.

Socrates was right. We don't know anything. Knowledge is an illusion. Facts are an illusion. Power is an illusion. A fact is only true because we say it is. It is power that defines our facts for us. Society is built not upon facts but upon power. Power in the strength of ideas over facts. Ideas which lead to other ideas. Ideas that can be changed if they conflict with a better idea. An open mind is an intelligent mind because it assumes everything it knows is fallible. This is how we learn new ideas by accepting the fact that facts are meant to be broken. For better or worse, they are collective assumptions. Just like us.

We are a collection of assumptions. We make decisions not upon perfect knowledge but estimations of knowledge. Estimations of truth which seem right to us at the time according to what we know. Right because they support our assumptions. If our assumptions change then our actions change. All of us are exactly alike in this manner. I don't believe anybody is inherently good or evil. Asking if evil is inherent is a lie. We are vessels whose assumptions are given to us by our community. Asking if man is inherently evil is like asking if stars are inherently evil. They are not and neither is Man because good and evil do not apply to them. There is no such thing as an evil man. If you want to find evil look at the system which tells us we are evil. This is the lie perpetuated by a political system which wants to convince us we can not be trusted. Each of us is trapped within a web of lies that revolves around this nucleus of fear. That we are not worthy of self rule.

The system tells us that it has all the facts. It owns the facts and can copyright and patent them and make a buck off them. As if information is a solitary event like any other piece of dirt or drop of oil. The system perpetuates itself by making us believe in facts and science and rules and systems to govern our derelict conscience. The system is a process which puts into place leaders beholden to this lie. This is why we get the same no choices every four years. All of our politicians are beholden to the system. A system which represents only its self. If you are not with the system then you are against it. If you do not buy the lie then you are considered evil by the system and those who pretend to know what evil is.

The joke is that it is those who play games with evil and fear that suffer the most by it. It IS lonely at the top. That is because to be on top is to be alone. This is the opposite of a good system. Politicians are the most woe begotten creatures on the planet. I feel sorry for them. They don't deserve to be alone just like none of us deserve to be alone. But that is what the system forces down our throats. Conflict and tensions between each other so as to detract us from the real problem which is the matrix. That's right, the matrix. The matrix was a movie which dramatizes this situation. Neo is the individual. Mr. Smith is the system. And the rest are dupes. In real life, the matrix exists inside our minds. In our set of assumptions about ourselves. None can fathom the idea that we don't need politicians or leaders. We are all dupes of the system until we all collectively wake up and demand justice for all.

Politicians make excuses for their existence that revolve around fear uncertainty and doubt of the individual. This is the basis of our collective misery. When I say collective I mean everybody on the planet is under the heel of disrepresentation. Even the Swiss who have the ability to question their politicians via initiative and referendum are caught within the larger international web of treaties and unchecked capitalism which threaten to overwhelm us. The Swiss are ahead of everybody else and they know it yet they are too small to fend off the interests of fascist corporatism.

In my opinion, America must be the catalyst for this evolution. I believe America has the unique responsibility to follow through on its manifest destiny to liberate the world from tyranny. The American dream has made this moment possible. The American dream has elevated the world to the point where distance is no longer a factor in communication. The only step left is to finish the job. This means direct democracy that starts with national initiative and referendum and spreads to the world by manifest destiny.

Manifest destiny = Unite and conquer. The US is the only super power left. We became a super power not because of politicians but despite them. We are a nation of immigrants from everywhere. This should tell us something. People are the same everywhere. Our fear uncertainty and doubt of foreigners is a lie. We became a super power because our politicians were at least elected and not imposed by some authoritarian mechanism. I do not hold politicians responsible as individuals but as tools of a system which we are all trapped within from day one. America can unite the world by simply inviting it in. Instead of relying on corporations and politicians to write the rules of engagement in international politics why don't we simply practice what we preach and demand equal representation for all under a US Constitution that gives initiative and referendum to all. We preach peace and yet sit back and allow corporations to buy their way into power where there is a vacuum of power. This true inside and outside our borders. The 3rd world is a mess because of this. They are a mess because they do not nor have they ever had the freedoms we grow up with. It is from their political situation that their economic disparity flows. And from their political and economic disparity arises desperate attempts at rebellion.

The US can eliminate all anxiety in the world towards it if we held out the welcome mat. Instead our politicians are doing the exact opposite. Encouraging us to fear foreigners and the third world as potential terrorists for which we must suspend all our rights and liberties in order to defend against. This is pure bs. This argument plays right into the system's hand of denying the individual his voice. They are using terror to consolidate their power against us. They are the terrorists. They are the threat to world peace. Saddam Hussein is a bogey man. Osama bin Laden is a bogey man meant to scare us into bed with our beloved leadership. It's a scam. It's a scam on a scale that is hard to recognize at first because of the media's insistence on dramatization. We see ourselves as constantly behaving like animals and are told we can not be trusted because of these examples. What you are not told is that these examples of depravity by the individual is a reaction to an unjust system. The system wants you to blame the individual. It uses all instances of crime, corruption and terrorism to encourage its authority over the individual.

I am proposing a peaceful way out of the mess. Nonviolent, democratic and revolutionary. Revolutionary in the sense that it turns our system upside down by turning ourselves right side up.

My philosophy is very simple. I accept that I don't know what's best for everybody. I believe only everybody knows what best for everybody. I am not opposed to anything which is decided upon collectively and fairly. Unfortunately our system does not provide this legitimacy. All systems which concentrate power into the hands of the few are illegitimate. We don't need any more leaders tearing us apart with their inflated egos and pet interests. How many times do we have to hear about some ridiculous scandal involving an elected official abusing their power? Here's an assumption I think we would all agree on. For every scandal we hear about there are thousands that never see the light of day. The US federal budget is $1,000,000,000/year. This money is spent by a consensus of mostly white middle aged lawyers. Hello? We are being fleeced. The world is being fleeced. The time to stand up is now.

It's very simple. It is not as complicated as politicians want to make it. They want you to believe in them and create elaborate justifications for their authority. This is the bs that I wish to confront. The king has no clothes. And our elected leaders are always illegitimate. To elect a leader is to abdicate our responsibility for ourselves. It is demoralizing to the human spirit to live under rules which we have no say on. It is demoralizing to live in a system of rules which confine us to a very narrow mentality of our selves as simple rule abiders. It is the cause of depression and tension and conflict. The problem does not lie with the individual. The problem lies with the system which denies the individual their liberty. This is not complicated psychology. Psychologists simply make a buck off the symptoms of the system. If they were truly interested in helping they would demand equal representation for everybody. They would realize that we are subject to the whims of a self motivated system that uses us for its own self perpetuation. No wonder we are running to the pharmacist for prozac or the corner drug dealer. They both provide pain relief from the system. Our self loathing is a misdirection of our anxiety. We loath ourselves because we are told we are not worthy. That we must abide stupid rules for the sake of the stupid rules.

Does anybody ever wonder why we have so many rules? I have a suggestion. It is because we have rulers. Rulers exist to find ways of making new rules to restrict us by. To make us feel beholden to their majesty. Not only do these rulers elevate themselves at our expense but they make themselves rich by manipulating the rules in their favor and then charging the rest of us to defend ourselves from them. It is a huge scam being perpetuated upon the entire planet. Rules are for prisons. The more rules we have, the more bars we have on our prison cells.

As an American I feel particularly disgusted with our leaders who continue to behave as though the individual were enemy #1. In their inability to see the difference between an individual and and a terrorist we all end up in the cross hair. They can not tell the difference because there is no difference. We are all potential weapons of mass destruction. We are all illegal under our own rules. Who can say we are not a nation of terrorists? Terrorists are individuals struggling against the system. How would you feel if you lived in the third world? The third world is a farce of politics. The Middle East is the result of American and British politicians royally shafting the people in the name of $. Africa is the result of same. China, ditto. Cuba is a hold out. Castro is a hero if you look at him as a leader unwilling to sell his country out to corporate fascism. Better communism than rule by corporations. Not that corporations are bad or evil. But they are machines. They are not people. They are beasts, meant to be tools of humanity not the other way around. I am not anti-capitalism. Capitalism needs to be a tool under the authority of the individual. Until that day comes we will be nothing more than employees of the state.

I believe that at the heart of my self and my universe lies an assumption. That assumption of course is that I exist. In order for anything else to exist, I must exist. If I do not exist what else could possibly matter to me? So to me everything is really just a belief. Everything I know is really just my best judgment at work. Is my best judgment infallible? It is to me. How can it not be? It is the best that I have at that moment. To me it is pointless to argue with the past. The past is divine. It can not be changed. In my opinion we can either choose to argue with the past or choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. And what I have chosen to learn is this. It is the whole of humanity that is divine. Everybody is in the same boat as me. We are all using our best judgment to define ourselves. How can I argue with another's best judgment? I believe that truth lies in the whole and the establishment of the individual as the whole's best representative. I do not pretend to know what is best for another or for the whole. Be gay if it makes you happy. Be straight if it makes you happy. Be both if it makes you happy. Do whatever it takes to make yourself happy. Some people will argue that that is a recipe for destruction. That is only true if we are not given our freedom to be. Because whether I like it or not you are going to make yourself happy. When I stand in between another and their happiness I am asking for conflict. Where is the merit in that? From this belief in the whole of humanity arises the belief that it is the whole of humanity that is responsible for humanity. I have decided that in order to maximize myself I must maximize the whole. My interest is purely selfish. I believe I am a product of the whole. And if the whole is fractured it is my responsibility to fix it. When I examine the past through this lens I see history as the story of the birth of Man. If I follow history along this track it seems to me that Man is ready to be born. In fact Man is in the chute right now and the stress we see around us is the world contracting as Man issues forth.

The key is universal respect. Universal respect begins with individual respect. Individual respect begins with respect under the law. Respect under the law begins with democracy. Absolute respect under law begins with absolute democracy. What we have now is anarchy. What we have now is mob rule. A system that sells the rules to highest bidder is directionless, chaotic and self destructive. Winner take all is mob rule. We are blinded by our proximity to the system to see the system properly. As long as it is left to fend for itself we will be at its mercy. The key to bringing the system under control is in each of our pockets. Collectively we can bring the system to our bidding by making each of us full members of the ruling class. This is the Way, the Truth and the Light at the end of the tunnel.

Back to the 1st principle. If all I know is simply a piece of the truth rather than the whole truth, where might the whole truth lie? Allow me to present to you a metaphor. The whole truth lies in pi.

Or go straight to the esoterica.
