Democracy is the manifestation
of atheism. Think about it. What is theism? Theism is dogma. Theism
says God must exist. Why? Because we exist. Theism is a rule.
Theism denies the Individual his own decision making faculty.
Rules are used by rule makers to appropriate power. Theism is
used to subjugate the will of the individual to the will of the
powerful. Theism defines God. This is the serpent in the Garden
telling us we are not God but that there is something else; bigger,
better, stronger and more important than us that will destroy
us if we fail to abide the rules. The crux of the serpent's argument
to Adam and Eve is that they are not worthy. That they will die
without knowledge. This is the lie. Knowledge of God is a lie.
This is the meaning of theism and this is the opposite of self
rule. If it were up to theists we would all be living under the
rule of God which is in reality not from God but from them. It
is simply their opinions which they wish to shove down humanity's
throat. This is the opposite of God if you understand that God
is a THREE LETTER WORD.
A word is nothing more than the codification of a concept which
resides in the human mind. Nothing more, nothing less. Understand
this, words and language and everything else that makes us 'Us',
is an invention of the human mind. Our universe is not made up
of abstract things without meaning but instead is made up of definitions
and concepts used to describe a thing's relative importance to
Us. We are at the mercy not of some external super natural unpredictable
high and mighty Creator but to simply ourselves. Each of us having
the means to choose our own definitions and our own values according
to how we see fit. Period, end of story. All other conjecture
about what or how or why we are who we are is simply the human
mind imagining the possibilities. God is simply a possibility.
Like all other words it is an argument. An argument which can
not be proven because proof does not exist of anything outside
of the self. We exist therefore God exists is an assumption. A
collective assumption is a fact. God is not a fact because there
is no collective assumption about the word. The word, like any
word can mean anything. It is not some external God which wrought
us, but we together, each of us acting according to our nature
that are the true creators in the universe. The attempt to pin
God down and make the ideal the rule is the antithesis of freedom.
This argument in my mind is the final nail in the coffin of religion.
Religion as we know it is dead. I realize there are still holdouts
hoping their particular God will save them. If you are one of
them, you have been misled. We do not need religion anymore. It
is an obsolete methodology of power. It is simply the left over
of a chaotic world whose power structure was in constant flux
due to the fragmentation of man over wide distances. These distances
encouraged a segmentation according to the ability of the few
to exert their will on the rest. This has been done since the
beginning of recorded history as the strong, the literate, the
self appointed leaders used whatever excuse they could find to
legitimize their control. Democracy effectively ends this power
mongering. Religion is dead and so is God. God is dead as a definition
of anything. The word has zero meaning outside each of us. There
is no god without us. We invent God as a tool to help us understand
who we are. When that definition fails to meet our needs we change
it. God as an absolute of anything is meaningless. God as an internal
ideal set by our conscience is a definition which makes real our
own divinity. Once again, the power to define and to take action
lies not without but within. The Gnostics were right. The Church
is a scam as long as it continues to pontificate it's rules as
absolute.
Here's a new idea for you. God is an atheist. Why? Do you go around
worshipping yourself? Neither does God. God is an anarchist, too.
God has no need for rules. God follows his conscience, just like
us. Each of us is in his image because we are He or She depending
your POV. This is the democratic paradigm. Decision making not
by a church or a priest or any other self appointed dictator but
by each of us as equals. Together as a whole we can achieve the
ideal. Humanity as one body. One mind. One conscience. With liberty
and justice for each individual regardless of whether they believe
in God or not.
We live inside a legacy system. A legacy system is a system which
is outdated. It is obsolete because a better system is available
to us. We have only to adopt it to transcend the past. This system
is atheistic in nature. It is atheistic for the above reasons.
It denies any authority to anything or anybody outside the self.
It is a maturation of democracy from it's infantile representative
stage to it's next stage. It's next stage being direct and global.
I have termed this stage Absolute Democracy. The point being,
that divinity lies within each of us as equal decision makers
to every law which affects us. This is a global united movement
of the people. The people being everybody everywhere without one
exclusion. It is the unification of Man under the sovereign of
the Individual.
