Key Lime Goodness

Well, things are a little different these days. I'm not at my computer nearly enough to update this page as much as I'd like. [The page] has gotten weaker and weaker since I've been getting better at HTML, I guess I'm getting lazy so I've decided to return to the old format of taunting my good friends and anyone else I can sink my teeth into.

I've also decided (for the time being) to chronicle some of my projects on here, sort of an on-line resume if you will. I'm back to looking at some kind of career/locale change again. I would like to go west again or I really like Ely, MN but I'd settle for getting out of the cities.

My So-called Friends:

(in lieu of anything new, a page that's been tested and found true, so here again is Ulvog, brought from me to you)

Ulvog

Culver - Not the promised Culverizer yet but the preview again

Why I suck (again) - I like this (and the sound byte) so mush that i put it back. New reasons on the way

Projects/Ideas/Strokes of Genius:
still working on this

Century Construction Gravel Loadout Panel:

Silo Sentry:

Dust Flow Control: An interesting way to measure the amount of dust going into your asphalt

On-Line Safety Seminar: Here is a project currently on hold until summertime business slows down. DownLoading the Authorware Player takes a while and none of you probably need any LockOut /Tagout and confined space procedures written up but if ya do give it a whirl 'cause it won't be free much longer.

News:

So I'm a current events whore. I leave the conservative talk radio on all day, I'm constantly checking sites .... I'm hooked. I go to the bar and I discuss the true reasons behind our war on Iraq, Martha Stewart, and the current predicament of the democratic party

DrudgeReport - I know it's billed as a gossip column but I've made this my homepage. It seems like this guy is always a few steps ahead of the game

Fark - This always gets me going. Except for the crazy-ass Nazi's racing to post first, this place links awesome articles.

Onion - A news source? I think so

Bored? Me too. Here are some more sites/videos/music that have been entertaining me lately. Some require high speed or download time, those will have a WYA next to them (watch your ass).

DemonJuice a-go-go - This is my college buddy's Blog. I like to go on it and leave annoying and innapropriate comments in random places under false names. Give it a shot.

Trans-freakin-formers dood! WYA Here is a short clip of an actual transformer. With speculation in Hollywierd about a new Transformer Movie (live action) coming out, this clip from themichaelsmith.com could persuade some bigwigs to fling some money that way.

BigBoyBaloons - This one speaks for itself. I can't really say anything else about it.

Lords of the Rhymes - I know I put this up a while back but the site has been redone. A new song and some re-mixes have been added and a video is now posted. The video is well worth it but must be given the old WYA but the songs stream very well. Elf booty got Soul! Elf girlz like 2 Rock & Roll!

Greatest Crime Ever - My keen detective abilities have forseen a new arch-villan, a burgeoning Lex Luthor if you will, coming to power outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Today a goat, tomorrow THE WORLD!

Nietzsche - Your favorite 19th century Existentialist reportin on his Zany adventures through his own twisted perspectives of reality. Here is a link to 6 of his books available on-line. My favorite, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, isn't there but if your interested in it get the Kaufman translation rather than Thomas Common, he just dosn't get it My Favorite Passage from that book

Krangtastic- For those of you who don't check the Fark headlines all the time, you'll like this. I never seen anyone so passionate about a talking brain (but after reading I see why he is)

Movies:

X-2:

This was everything I wanted and a ton more!! The movie opened with this wicked fight scene with Nightcrawler kickin mad ass in the white house, Wolverine was completely nuts, stickin his claws in everybody. The basic theme was derived from the greatest graphic novel, God Loves, Man Kills, without the whacked out reigious undertones that made that book awesome, which bummed me out. I was kinda hoping for an X-men movie that would follow the GN verbatim because you can't make that story any better.

Magneto's escape was amazingly done and it's too bad that Iceman will never travel on that Ice ramp. I hope in the next movie that Nightcrawler gets a bigger part, and maybe they explore his relationship with Mystique a little more. I'd like to see colossus again. When he first changed shape he looked sweet but then they made him look like T2 and he really should be layered, methinks.

Give it a couple years and we'll be seeing the Dark Phoenix Saga, can they do that without Angel? I saw Beast made a cameo in this last one. I bet we'll see him in this next one and a little more of Kitty Pryde. Nerd over and out.

Matrix 2: re-Bloated

Sorry fellas, no-love for this one. The whole premise of this one is weak. Rougue programs disobeying orders. I like Smith, the Twins, the concept of the Architect and the Oracle but it seemed like they tried to hard to 'splain everything into a total boor. I think they should have focused more on the conflict than the build up and mythology of the land. And that speech by Morpheus to Zion was weak, "Let's Shake this cave because we're alive!" The community rave was interesting but I don't think that much E exists anywhere.

I was suprised at the end when Neo.. well, you know. So I'll probably see the next one.

The Bulk:

I'm sorry to throw this out there, because my hopes were high, but I have to say that "The Hulk" was like a very violent Pete's Dragon without the awesome dancing and singing. What could they have done? I'm not sure: make the whole thing CGI, paint up some dude like Lou Ferigno? It just didn't glom, everything seemed forced. But, it didn't suck as bad as Daredevil.

On Vid:Boondock Saints

I'm sure everyone in the world has seen this but me until last week. Damn is all I can say. I love this movie and I think I'm gonna buy it. 'Nuff said.

I'll tell you when I've had enough, bub.
