27/12/03 well october's JB flew by, then came a chilly november - the prospects weren't good, since stinky sheffield were holding a mini-camp the same weekend as our JB (boooo)... we who were left decided to do something different, and so cate's living room was filled with young energetic JBers who munched on popcorn, pringles and pop..and were entertained by the running commentary of one Will as the film played (funnyguy).
For December;s JB, tesco was the place, raising money for Leeds village the aim :D it all went very well, big up to everyone who was there.

14/09/03 Well the first JB back was the greatest since the venue was the bestest......Heather Bailey's back garden (nice grass). There were quite a few new faces, some who had just been on village, and others from the mists of time (....ump ;)
gettin-to-know-you games and name games we did aplenty, topped off by a big game of "keep on honkin'". Clumps were re-done so we should have great activites all year round fittin some LW in there as well. Next JB is october 12 ...back at fir tree (boo hoo ;)

1/09/03 In less than a week, Leeds jB will be losing Tom Walley as he flies off to distant shores for his GAP year.
For 5 months he will be teaching English in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, through GAP Activity projects. Earlier this year he attended a training course down south in the bright lights of London and had a wiicked time :)
After teaching he intends to go travelling...
though in true CISV style he hasn't yet quite decided where he is going to visit.
Cambodia, Laos, Japan and Australia have all tickled his fancy, as has the land of Thai...so come the new year expect to find people *shaking their hand..shake Shake SHAKING their hand* in these far off lands.... :D
All the best Tom, come back safe and sound!
