    Projects and Jeep Work

  • Hand throttle. I installed a hand throttle to help with steep inclines where the use of the clutch, brake and gas are essential. The hand throttle gives you control of the gas on the shifter column making this obstacles easier. Here are a few pics: Hand throttle 1, Hand throttle 2, and Hand throttle 3.
  • Engine. After blowing up the original 2.5L from muddy water in the engine. I had the engine rebuilt by AxleBoy Enterprises. The engine was bored .030 over, with new forged internals and a K&N FIPK to keep the muddy water from destroying this engine.
  • Banks Header While having the engine rebuilt I ordered and installed the stainless steel header from Banks Engineering. This header is extremely beefy and looks great. I did not see a big improvement in HP from this mod, but I will help in the future when a supercharger is added to the engine.
  • Banks Exhaust. To further help out the squirrels a Banks Stinger cat-back exhaust. I highly recommend this exhaust, it sounds VERY good and shows an increase in power. The install was quite simple: I lowered the T-case skid to gain easier access to the flange bolts next to the cat. With the removal of the flange bolts and the removal of the exhaust hanger, the stock exhaust comes out!! The install of the new exhaust was even easier. Bolting the muffler to the cat and using the exhaust clamp to attach the muffler to the rest of the exhaust pipe. The Banks kit is made of high quality stainless steel. VERY NICE SYSTEM. Banks exhaust 1 and Banks exhaust 2.
  • Optima Battery. Thinking of a day when I may possibly get a winch or incase of running many accessories at once I bought and install an Optima Red Top battery. Theses batteries are extremely nice and will not leak. Optima Red Top.
  • Bulletproof rear swing-away. I bought this, well.............., cause I got an awesome deal on it. Keeps the weight of my little 33's off the rear tailgate. Bulletproof bumper 1, Bulletproof bumper 2, and Bulletproof bumper 3.
  • Axles and a lil more suspension. I am installing 4.88 gears in my Dana30 and Dana35. While installing the gears I am tossing in a Lockright that I got for a real deal. I am also tossing on a set of Tera-Flex upper control arms to round off my Tera lower control arms. I will get more pics up as we install everything!!!!!
  • Bigger and better axle. I bought a Ford 8.8 that is out of a 1997 Ford Explorer. It came stock with 31 spline axles, 3.73 gears, limited slip and disc brakes. The axle now has 4.88 gears and has had TJ brackets installed and is under my Jeep. The axle is much stronger than the stock Dana 35, and the disc brakes will make for better stopping. The next modification for the rear 8.8 is going to be c-clip eliminators!
  • Dana 44 Front Axle. After destroying my Dana 30 near Columbia, MO I decided that it wasn't worth my time and money to rebuild an axle that I would destroy again. I purchased a Dana 44 from 4WD Hardware with 4.88 gears, ARB air locker and Chromoly axles. Along with this axle, I decided to upgrade the hubs to Warn style hubs. These hubs have the ability to be disengaged for highway driving and somewhat increase fuel economy. So far I am happy with this set-up.
  • Winch, PSC rocker guards, and HD tie-rod. After getting in situations where I was forced to back down obstacles I finially decided to change that. I purchased a CHEAP 8000lb winch to pull my ass out of a pinch. PSC rocker guards were installed after an encounter with a large tree at the Badlands in Attica, IN. Dan Lensing and myself made a HD tie-rod out of .250 wall tube and 3/4" hiems. Pics to come!

    Dan's Racecar

  • A good friend of mine, Dan Lensing, owns a Limited Late model racecar. I have had the honor of working on his racecar for a lil over 3 years now and it has been an amazing time. We have raced at Madison International Speedway, Rockford Speedway, Colombus Speedway and Jefferson Speeday. Dan is an amazing drive with loads of skill and potential.
  • This summer leads me to wonder why Dan has not advanced into a more advanced racing series. We have been working on two badass Late Model race cars, with a venture in the ASL series. His skills have vastly improved from his already sharp competitive driving. Good Luck Dan.

    Life At School

  • I'm a student at the University of Missouri-Rolla, a well known school for its engineering programs.
  • I'm studying in the field of Nuclear Engineering at the moment with a possible minor in Electrical Engineering.
  • Instead of living in the dorms I found a great place to stay in college, Triangle.
  • After my first year in Triangle, I have come to love it here. It's a place of fun and learning.
  • In my time here at Triangle I have been in numerous positions such as: 2nd Vice President, House Manager, Recording Secretary, Steward. I have also been in charge of many events at the house. Currently I am running for President, I am looking forward to brighter future of Triangle Fraternity and Greek Life in general. I strive for hard work, job placement, and brotherhood in Triangle.
  • Crazy enough as it is to believe, but I was elected President of my fraternity for 1 year! Hell yea, lots of fun ahead.
