We, the Hugpong ng mga Estudyanteng Atenista of Ateneo De Davao University, imploring the aid of the Almighty God,in order to express our inherent ideals and aspirations to establish just and pro-Country, pro-People, pro-God student organization that shall promote student rights and welfare, to be an instrument of good values in the community that my influence all, to promote understanding and unity between the administration and students. Academic excellence, social awareness and involvement and to deepen the spiritual aspect in the light of Ignatian Spirituality through service in the wholeacademe, organize. The Hugpong ng mga Estudyanteng Atenista, and do hereby ordain and promulgate this constitution and by laws.
As a socio-political club, Hugpong shall be the dominant political group in terms of values in the community leading the community from reform to prosperity.
We shall be the model of an efficient, pro-active, dynamic and mediator sound organization responsive to student's goals and aspiration.
We shall maintain high-trained and motivated students committed to the highest standard of ethics and excellence.
We shall contribute to building progressive God centered communities in the service of humanity.
FACULTY AND ADMINISTRATION
We shall continue to improve the good relationship between the administration-facultyand SAMAHAN-students through timely activities to strengthen their ties and to be mediator of these two different sectors of the community.
STUDENT
We shall be the voice of the students and to serve them according to the best of our capabilities to meet their needs.
CLUB PARTNERSHIP
We shall ensure mutual cooperation and complementation to achieve optimum gains in an environment of trust and confidence.
MEMBERS
We shall ensure a working atmosphere of mutual respect and teamwork for the good and of the community.
We shall continue to provide appropriate training and value enhancement to ensure the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
We shall mold an organization composed of highly competent students who are pro-country, pro-people, and pro-God.
We shall mold and encourage values in order to gain the betterment in all fields of endeavors especially in spiritual growth and academics.
FILIPINO YOUTH
We commit our unweaving loyalty and dedicated service the pursuit of the national interest.
1. We believe in that if one is in the service of fellow being, he or she is also in the service of God.
2. We believe that education is a right and each and everyone should be able to avail of quality education.
3. We believe that in order to have progress we should learn and observe respect, love and humility.
4. We believe in being subject to the administration; we should follow rules and regulations; uphold student's rights and freedom, and impose penalty and sanction to violators.
5. We believe that camaraderie of students is essential for the youth development and discovery of potentials.
6. We believe that a well-rounded student is good not only in intellectual matters but as well as spiritual, social and emotional matters.
