Eve Online. Sigh.

Graphics: These are pretty good except for one thing: They don't tell me what the hell I'm looking at. How am I supposed to say "wow, good graphics" when I'm also saying "What the fuck is that thing supposed to be? Looks like a cow floating in space." Well the graphics are the only reason I played an extra day of this shit because I was hoping that a game that spent about a year on graohics would have SOME gameplay. Ahem, wrong.

Audio: I hated the audio more than I hate that tiny green thng resturants serve on your plate. Just about everyone thinks "What the hell is that for? I'm not a freakin' cow, I want my meat!" Or at least that's what I say. Right, back to the audio. First of all the music sucks ass. Sounds like they let some new age band take over. It's sickening. Secondly, I have no idea what the hell I'm hearing half the time. I always hear some abnoxious beeps and shit and it makes me want to use the self destruct key, which is the best feature in the game.

Controls: You might think that a game this bad would at least have decent controls. That's horribly wrong. The game consists of two mouse buttons, that's IT. You can hardly even handle your ship because you have to open a menu everytime you want to fucking do something as simple as that. I'm wondering what the game devolpers said to their angrey customoers... "No, you can't steer your ship. Who's ever heard of STEERING? Why STEER when you click your mouse about 8 times just to change directions, which is STILL off track? Look, back in my day we didn't have steering wheels, so get used to it." Seriously, how could ANYBODY think a game this complex could function with TWO BUTTONS? May I also state that the left mouse button is hardly used for anything, making me loose more respect for the game.

Gameplay: Well I don't know where to start. Maybe I should begin to start with the fact that the ENTIRE game is based around economy. The thing with Eve is that it doesn't understand that people like to do things OTHER than trade or things that arn't trade related. I spent about 3 days doing nothing but mining. And, since this game is only two buttons, there is absolutely NOTHING interesting about it. If there's one thing I hate it's collecting bullshit for people, and that's what this game made me do. Furthermore, since the market is 100% player controlled, every single price is bullshit. Do people ty to compete? No. Do people take advantage of capitalism? No. The game also has you doing trade runs all day long. The map that's SUPPOSED to help you is about as analyzable as some some a 2 year old scribbled on your screen. This game promises nothing but getting lost. The combat system sucks ass, by the way. It takes you about an entire minute just to lock on to somebody with the TWO BUTTON INTERFACE and by that time, you're screwed. Why the hell can't you aim, anyways? The game does the aiming for you, which eliminates the one and only element of skill to shooting. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this game is bullshit.
