Ok, I know its a bit early to be writing a review on this game, but I have nothing else to do. here we go: ~~Graphics: looks like a 2.5 dimensional game to me (don't ask me how that is possible). The models a wee bit small to notice detail but I'm guessing that was their intention. Graphics are mediocore and are good enough to play with. ~~Audio: The only music I enjoy much is the music in the main menu. Whenever I hear that come on, I fiddle around in the options pretending that I have something to do while I get down with the rock music. ~~Gameplay: After playing AOE2 out of my mind from sheer I-have-nothing-better-to-do-ness, I definitly welcome this new God concept. God powers are just plain fun to watch. Theres nothing quite as satisfing like laying the smackdown on some frenchy (lots of french people online) who has been badmouthing you throughout the game with GIANT BALLS OF FIRE falling from the sky. An AOE3 would have been plain obnoxious to me... I have better things to do than knock down walls with seige for 15 minutes (my basic AOE2 waste of time). The game is more based on foot soilders then 70 balista thingys or 140 cavalry dudes. The main point(s) I would like to make is the fact that it is rather slow-paced and little strategy. There are no such things as build orders and it takes ME about 15 minutes to get a decent base. I'll admit to being rather bad. Whoa, I wrote a lot. ~~~Controls: what can I say? the controls are control-er-ific. You can highlight more than 12 guys unlike SOME games... hint hint. Overall: 7.403
