Ok I have the real scoop on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. No, it's not GTA 4, if you say that, some videogame freak will either correct you or get mad at you. Anyway, I got the game the day it was out. I am at the last mission. I won't give away any spoilers. If you have questions on missions or such, give me an email. Ok, It was said that Vice City was two times bigger than Liberty City! Not true. Unforntunatly, it seems to me that Vice City is smaller than Liberty. Vice consists of two large islands. It was said that Vice City is all open from the start. Not true. You need to do a number of missions to get it all open. Yes, it does consist of about 40 weapons. You can now have mini gun! (not soo mini!) Vice City does have a number of interier places, such as banks, shops, Police Station, Clubs, etc. Yes Vice City is a little less gloomy than Liberty. Some places are like the ghetto. There are more than 100 missions. It seemed less to me. Money is now the object. You can now by propery to earn money and save. It has some pretty funny talk shows and music. Good 80's music too!Defenitly better than GTA 3. A must get!

The Police
In Vice City, the police are much meaner. As you know in Grand Theft auto 3, stars show the level at which the cops are after you. One star, if a cop see's you, they will chase. Two stars, a cop or two will be sent out to find you. It gets more difficult. Three stars, even more cops come. Secret agents come after you in Infernus'. A helicopter comes too. Four stars, the Swat team comes. Swat team swings out of the helicopter. (Look at picture) Five Stars, the FBI comes. A whole bunch chase you in their Rangers. Six stars, now it gets crazy. Here comes the military. If you're lucky, you can still a Rhino. (tank) In this game, the police throw down spike strips to flatten your tires. They can also shoot them out. |
Gettin' Around
Here is a picture of Tommy on a speed bike. Thats my favorite way to get around town. On the bikes, you can do wheelies and stoppies. The only plane that I know of is the sea plane! It's much easier to fly and you can land in the water. You can fly helicopters too. They are a little more changing though. Back |
