JUN04
JUNE 7th @ WHEATLY HIGHSCHOOL Well theres a show. Come if you want. My equipment broke today so someone buy me some shit.

MAY29
Hm, well Wheatstock is next Friday and sposedly were headlining it. Brett has been diagnosed with every known possible diease so were not to sure if that is going to pull through. Progress has been made on our demo however, both guitar tracks were completed today with the aid of a friendly german guy Kia for our song Promotion. So far this is what the track listing will most likely be, but obviously nothing is definate:

1. EOAD - (untitled instrumental)
2. EOAD - Promotion (rocks will fall)
3. EOAD - (untitled acoustic track)
4. TBS - Great Romances (live + acoustic + stoned @ Hagels Party)
5. EOAD - (untitled instrumental)
The demo is going to have a really wide variety of sounds to it, hopefully it comes out good. Whatever, later.

MAY26
Today went really good. We practiced most of the day and got some good recording done and got out a lot of idea's. Me + Ryan + Matt + Tony recorded most of our first song (without Brett because of his red-eye) and also recorded one acoustic song and some nice jam that just kinda came out of nowhere. Hopefully I'll be able to upload them tomorrow or something. So that's what got done at my house. Later on everyone met up at Hagel's house (with Brett) and we busted out an acoustic session in Hagel's room for a small crowd, and it up sounding really good through Ryan's pocket recorder. We're going to use our cover of Taking Back Sunday - Great Romances for our demo which will be out within the week, now that we also finished up our first song tonight in our little session. We also recorded some Thursday and one other orginal with improvised lyrics. All mp3's will be posted in a few days, but here was the set list for our acoustic jam:

1.Taking Back Sunday - Great Romances
2.Thursday - Cross out the Eyes
3.EOAD - Promotion (rocks will fall)
4.EOAD - Acoustic #1

So that's pretty much what went down today. As of now me and Ryan set up a mini-studio in his room (pictures will be up shortly) which we will begin recording our first demo. We're hoping to get down the guitar tracks within today and tomorrow and the drum + vocals within the weekend. That's it I guess, thanks to Hagel for having his party tonight and all the people who helped us out with vocals. We <3 you all.

MAY22
Practice was good today, just finishing the ending of our first song. Were really happy about how its sounding so far, Friday hopefully we'll record some stuff so check back. As far as the show goes, maybe Monday. Nothing definate yet because we want to get this song finished before we play another show.

MAY21
Ohhhh shit. The new songs on it's way and it sounds supa' tiiight. We didn't have any extra mic's to record since Matt couldn't make the practice so hopefully we'll get a recording of it within the next few days so you can get a taste of what to expect from us. Were all pretty amazed at what actually has been coming out from us, writing has proved to be so much fun. Possible show this weekend with Cloverdale + Semi-Automatix. Check back for more details.

MAY19
Ok so were actually getting shit done here, we started working on our first song titled: Promotion (rocks will fall). You can download the song (GRT1 only) [here], and read the lyrics [here]. Tell us what you think in the guestbook.

End of a Decade had a good practice yesterday, we added a second guitar to the first song and we started writing another. Things are sounding really good so far and we'll post a recording of the practice soon so you can get a taste of what to expect from us. Check back for reviews of the Battle of the Bands show.

APR27
Yesterday was the Battle of the Bands at Wheatly. We won first place with the votes 6-0. The prize was featured band in Wheatly's anual WheatStock. End of a Decades set list was as followed:
1. Thursday - Autobiography of a Nation
2. Thrice - Deadbolt
3. Thursday - Cross out the Eyes
4. Glassjaw - Pretty Lush
5. Glassjaw - Midwestern Stylings
End of a Decade will be taking a break from shows most likely until WheatStock (WeedStock) to work on orginals. Today we will be practing and hopefully finishing up our first song. We want to thank everyone who came out to support us last night at the Battle of the Bands, we <3 you all.

APR16
We had a small practice today and got down half of our first song (guitar 1 + drums) which can be heard in the Audio section. The acoustic guitar track for the second EOAD can also be found there. On MAY23 Brett + Justin + Matt's side project will be preforming at the Roslyn Highschool. The music inspired by Chino's Team Sleep and should be expected to be ambient and trancy. Very good if your stoned which we will definately be.

APR12
The site is almost finished with exception to a few minor glitches. Production of EOAD's first song has gone underway. The acoustic rhythm guitar track (still unfished) has been posted along with a clip from 4/11's practice. EOAD will be preforming at Wheatly Battle of Bands on APR26 so we hope to see you all there to support us.

APR10
Construction for site has gone underway.
