Now a little about me.  My name is Diana, but everyone calls me Di, or something around that line. *princess*  I am 18 years old and the youngest of four daughters.  I was born in Illinois but have lived in Alaska almost all of my life. When my family first moved to Alaska we lived on a really small island for two years.  Then we moved to the town of Santa Claus,  North Pole .  No it's not the actual North Pole.  It's not as cool as it sounds.  It's mainly a tourist town.  You can say the town never prospered as it had originally been planed too.  It was suppose to be a toy manufacturing town and manufactures oil. 

I now attend college at the University of Northern Colorado. This is not where I had intended to go.  I am very independent and wanted to be out on my own, but not so out on my own that I didn't know anyone in the state I was attending college.  Any ways I made the journey and am now able to say I was the first to live in Colorado, extended and immediate family.  Yahoo.  No it's not really that exciting.  My worst concern when I first moved here was that I'd have no friends.  Boy was I wrong.  The first semester of my freshman year I didn't do the normal gradually work your way into college.  I started with 17 credits and joined a sorority and a youth group.  My sorority is Alpha Omicron Pi , they are pretty cool and I like hanging out with them.  My youth group is through  Summitview Community Church  and they are also fun to hang out with.  The two groups are on completely different end of the spectrum so you'd think I'd prefer one over the other but I don't.  I prefer spending my time over at my friend Jenna's and talking to guys on the internet now that I'm single.

I am a huge fan of teddy bears and collect them as the years go by.  My favorite colors are pastels, which you would know if you have even been in my room.  My room is decked out in teddy bear boarder and I even have a matching lamp to go with it.  My dad teased me all summer that they were going to make it the babies room while I was gone because it already looked like a nursery.  This didn't make me very happy.  I am the only one who sleeps on the first floor of my house which is/was nice.  I don't know how many times I use to sneak out into the living room and watch movies in the middle of the night and eat.  I wouldn't have gotten away with this if other people had lived down stairs.

I have different favorite outdoor activities depending on the season.  During the winter I like to ski.  I want to learn how to snow board because it looks a lot funner and more challenging.  I don't get to do this activity much because there is no snow where I am at.  During the summer and fall I like to hike.  I want to do a 3 day hike soon, but I don't know how soon that will be.  I didn't go hiking at all last summer like I had planned.   Unfortunately I broke my best friend's leg in 8 different places so I lost my partner.  This summer I am planning to go hiking in Valdez with my sister.  I have never hiked there and it sounds like fun.  I want to take Billi and Jenna, if she come up, with me.
