It is believed that Bigfoot evolved from Gigantopithecus Blackie, a huge south Asian ape that came extinct a while ago. Well, It's a theory that the Gigantopithecus migrated into canada via the bearing straits a long time ago when they weren't under water. Then, when they realized that the coldness of Canada was too harsh a living environment, they again migrated, but south into the northwestern United States, which wasn't the United States at the time. But they way we found out about them was from the Native Americans.
When people first moved out into the Pacific Northwest, there weren't too many jobs, but one, however, was a lumberjack. Being a lumberjack requires going deep into the woods to finds trees and to cut them down. Now once and a while they would run into Native Americans, and they would trade them little things for food, or fur, etc. And the Indians also used to tell them theirs stories. But the one things the lumberjacks said they heard the most was "Stay away from the Sasquatch". Roughly translated, Sasquatch means "Wild man of the woods". At first the lumberjacks had no idea of what they were talking about. But after awile, the men started to have their own expiriances. At night, sometimes when the men were sitting arount the fire, they would hear grunts from the woods, and felt like they were being watched. The Sasquatch has even been know to steal fish from the men's food supply. I'm making this too long. Anyway, after awhile, the tracks left behind by the night invaders were discovered to be huge. Sometimes up to 18 inches long. Now, my foot's about 9 inches long, and I'm a size eight. Think of adding ten iches to that. Soon after, the media coined the name "Bigfoot".
I hope you have learned a little something about Bigfoot, and now you can use the rest of this site for something.
