Back in the city, the leftover hamsters formed the Trench Coat Hamster Mafia. Over the years, the TCHM became a very infuencial forse in the political system of the city, and they convinced the Mayor organize a team of rescue the bootlegged French hamsters. The team spent weeks training, learning to fly hamster gliders, drive hamster land-speeders, speak Frenchaneese, dive, roll, swim, stalk, and how to sleep standing up, which was fairly useless, since hamsters rearely are. Finally, the day came, and the hamster rescue team boarded a ship for France. When they arrived, they were greeted by a group of French hamsters, who kissed them all on the cheek. They asked these hamsters, in perfect Frenchaneese, if they knew anything about the bootlegged hamsters. Unfortunately, they responded in a language that sounded very much unlike Frenchaneese.
