Kazuya Minekura
Kazuya Minekura is the author of Saiyuki. She was born on the 23rd March 1975 and made her first debut in 1993. She created Saiyuki based on a chinese legend, but her version had some differences. Like for example Sanzo is a heavy smoker and drinker and he doesn't think twice to shoot anyone who gets on his nerves. That's what we love about Saiyuki. After the success of Gensomaden Saiyuki, other sequels were produced...Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock and even a movie Requiem. Some of her works other than saiyuki include:
