After 2 years that Gensomaden ended, in 2003 Reload was produced. It consists of 25 episodes and it follows the storyline of the manga. This series in my opinion is better then gensomaden, both in design and as a storyline. We see the characters funnier and at the end of every episode there is an 'Urasai' behind the scences of Saiyuki which consists of a 1 minute funny sketch of the saiyuki guys.
