(Hartsel headed toward Jefferson Hill. He was sure he could outrun Kaitlin.)
*BANG!*
(A gunshot rang out, and Hartsel’s right leg suddenly flew to the left. He stumbled forward and fell over, rolling down the stone steps.)
KV: What the hell?
(Off to her right, Kaitlin noticed somebody standing with her arm forward.)
KV: Janet?
(Janet lowered her Colt SAA and tapped her hand against the wooden box.)
JL: Hey Kaitlin. Sorry, I saw an opening and took it.
KV: Hmmm... what’s in the box?
JL: Oh this?
(Janet slammed her elbow down in the wooden box, smashing the top of it open.)
JL: Oooh, look at this. Nice crowbar.
(Twirling the crowbar around, Janet stepped forward.)
JL: Up for a fight?
(Laughing to herself, Kaitlin stepped forward... with a flex!)
KV: Come then, Mrs. Longworth! Step forward and face the ultimate strength of the Queen of Sting!
*BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!*
(Nearby, rapid gunfire rang out.)
JL: Oh my... that doesn’t sound very good. Shall we postpone this encounter?
KV: Delaying the inevitable, are you? Fine then, we shall meet again under more favorable circumstances.
(Janet quickly dashed into College Green, while Kaitlin made her way toward the First United Methodist Church. For now, a conflict had been avoided.)
Hartsel lost 2HP
Morton Hall, 3rd floor
(The hallway door swung open. Comrade stepped through, his eyes squinted in bloodlust, his finger resting on the trigger of his Sig Sauer.)
C: Heeeeeere kitty kitty kitty!
(Inside room 311, Marc sat against the wall, holding his hatchet. He quickly popped a valium pill into his mouth and swallowed.)
MG: That’s right, big man. Just come a little bit closer.
(Comrade quickly walked down the hall, kicking doors open and aiming his Sig Sauer inside. His footsteps approached Room 311... and stopped.)
C: Huh? A-ha, I see you!
*BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*
(Comrade let loose with the Sig Sauer, firing down the hallway. Marc tensed up, but soon calmed himself when he realized he was not the one being shot at.)
C: Giiirrrrrl! Gone shot me a giiiirrrrrrl! Hahahaha!
(Diving back into the women’s restroom, Dani gasped for breath.)
*BANG!*
(Comrade’s next shot blew a chunk of the wall off and sent it right into Dani’s eye. Blood immediately spilled from her orbital socket.)
MG: Now’s my chance. He’s busy with someone else. I can escape.
(Standing up, Marc quickly opened the door and ran out.)
*BANG!*
MG: Blargh!
(Marc screamed as Comrade’s bullet tore through his shoulder.)
C: Yeah baby! How you likin’ that?!
(Realizing the last shot had not been directed at her, Dani now seized her opportunity. Dashing from the bathroom entrance, she burst through the hallway doors and ran down the stairs. Comrade turned and fire but was too late.)
C: Gah! You then!
(Comrade turned back, but Marc had also vanished. Snorting in anger, Comrade slid a fresh magazine into his Sig.)
Dani lost 1HP; Marc lost 2HP
The Convo
*BANG!* *BANG!*
(Ace’s Colt fired shot after shot at Obadiah, who turned toward the main concourse.)
O: This is not good!
JF: Rarararar I’m a song from your funeral!
*BANG!*
(The bullet bit through the side of Obadiah’s left arm, tearing a chunk of flesh off.)
O: Darn it! Ace, stop it! Please, calm down!
JF: Not until you die!
(Obadiah turned the corner once again. As he passed by, a pink-haired mopey boy jumped out from his hiding spot.)
D. Rew: Oh no, it isn’t safe here either!
(And sure enough, as Ace rounded the corner, he ran right into Donald Rew and sent both of them sprawling. Ace looked up but could only watch as Obadiah ran off.)
JF: Son of a bitch! UUNNNNGGG!
D. Rew: Owie ouch ouch! I got a boo-boo! Why must my life be a constant spiral of pain into the black abyss of despair?!
JF: God damn, shut up you fucking pussy!
(Ace quickly elbowed D. Rew in nose, breaking it and spilling blood all over the floor. He was VERY pissed that his target had eluded him.)
