O: C'mon Greg! We're almost there! Just hold on a little bit more!
*BLAAAAAMM!*
(A huge gunshot rang out in the distance. Obadiah felt no pain. The brief moment of fear was replaced by relief as he realized the bullet had not been aimed at him.)
O: Jeez, they've totally lost it. Hey Dikis, don't drag your legs. Let's go, alright? C'mon, up and at 'em!
(Obadiah stumbled forward but steadied himself before falling. He didn't pay much mind to the loud thud on the ground... until he saw Dikis' head rolling away.)
O: OH MY GOD!!
(Covering his mouth, Obadian choked the vomit back down as he saw Dikis' head - or what was left of it - stare back up at him. The neck was blown to bits, and the back of the skull was open as well, spilling Greg's brains all over the pavement.)
MF: Hahahaha! This thing could kill an elephant. A human has no chance.
(Fullhart smiled as he relaxed his arm, letting the S&W 500 in his grip rest at his side.)
MF: If it were anyone else, I'd sent bullet number two right through your head. But since you were my roommate and all... hahahaha!
(Obadiah shut his eyes. His close friend had been sucked in by the game. Words wouldn't get him out of this. At this range, that bulky rifle would be useless. Gripping his golden pipe wrench, Obadiah turned and faced his enemy.)
O: I wanted everyone to get out of this. I really did. But it looks like death is the only salvation I can offer anymore.
MF: Awww, that's so touching. Shall I put that on your tombstone?
(The kusarigama's chain rattled as Fullhart unwrapped it from around his waist. Spun by the tiny yet powerful chain, the iron weight whistled in the air.)
O: Fancy tricks for a fancy weapon. En garde!
(And Obadiah's valiant charge was halted mere moments after it began as Fullhart flung the chain out. THe iron weight smashed into Obadiah's knee and sent him plummeting face-first to the hard, unforgiving pavement.)
MF: Yeesh, is that it?! Beating you is easier than solving a Rubick's Cube!
(Fullhart pounced quickly, jumping onto Obadiah's back. The metal dug into Obadiah's skin as Fullhart wrapped the chain around his neck.)
MF: And now... I'll kill you very very slowly.
(Everything became blurry. Obadiah could hardly breath. He tried to swing his pipe wrench back, but it was too heavy and bulky for a good attack.)
MF: Good bye Alex.
(The plastic casing! Obadiah's hand brushed against it, and the sensation felt like new life, a ray of hope!)
O: Not... yet...
*bbzzzzzzttt!*
(Fullhart screamed aloud as the stun gun was rammed into his leg and 25,000 volts of electricity surged through his body. His grip on the kusarigama weakened and Obadiah was able to throw him off to the side. Gasping for air, Obadiah crawled toward the door to Morton Hall. His leg dragged behind him, practically useless from the devastating shot he had taken.)
Dikis was eliminated by Fullhart via S&W 500 to the head/neck; Obadiah lost 5HP from the knee shot and strangulation; Fullhart lost 3HP from electro-shock
(Kaitlin pounded her fist against the ground.)
KV: No... this is not possible! How could I let myself be attacked from behind?!
(She stood up but stumbled forward. Her knees shook as she held her stomach.)
KV: God... haven't eaten in days... no strength.
(Standing back up, Kaitlin looked around. The chopper had flown in during the fight and dropped food. As far as she knew, no one else had claimed it.)
KV: Where is it? I have to find that! Losing to starvation would be a disgraceful way to end a fight like this!
(Her eyes shifted over to the remains of Gordy Hall, where an unopened box rested in the rubble! That had to be it!)
KV: Hallelujah! Muscle Returns!
(Kaitlin ran towards Gordy's remains as quickly as possible, her legs buckling for weakness brought upon her by starvation. Back near Alden, however, someone had caught on to her activities.)
LJ: Think not.
*thpthpthpthpthpthpthpthp!*
(As Kaitlin reached the box, her legs went out again, accompanied by the excruciating pain of 9mm rounds chewing through the body. Janet staggered back and forth, her Uzi aimed at Kaitlin. Almost her entire body was covered in blood, the wound in her should still spewing her crimson life profusely.)
JL: Bye-byyyyyyye. Mama Janet says it's time for bed! Lights out!
*whhhrrrrrrr*
(Kaitlin looked back but couldn't make a sound. Instead, she grabbed the box and ducked behind a pile of collapsed stone.)
JL: What the hell?!
(Turning around, Janet looked into Abi's saucer-wide eyes. Her mouth was wide open, and some kind of previously unheard, deranged laughter escaped.)
*whhhhrrrRRIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGG!*
(She didn't a chance. Janet's body convulsed as though it were being tossed in a tornado. Within seconds her upper body had been severed from the lower half. Her abdomen skidded across the ground as she fell forward. Her legs remained motionless. And on the ground between them? Liquified guts. What used to be a stomach, a liver, instestines, all replaced by a red syrupy mess.)
AM: Ffffffffuck yeah! That's the ticket!
(Behind the rocks, Kaitlin bit into the pizza. As she swallowed each bite, she could feel her strength being restored as though she were Popeye downing a can of spinach.)
KV: Mmm... yes....yes, the power is returning! Evil shall quake in fear, for the storm has returned!
(Loading her crossbow, Kaitlin sprang up and let fly. Abi didn't even notice what was happening until the bolt had punctered her her chest, dead center. Falling to a seated position, Abi's finger pressed down on the trigger.)
*whrrrrrrrRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG!*
(Laughing aloud, Abi watched as more dirt flew up from the ground, bark was splintered from the trees, and huge chunks of stone were shattered as her mini-gun tore apart the landscape.)
KV: Son of a monkey! Muscle Retreat!
(And turning around, Kaitlin quickly dove down the hill and tucked into a roll. Landing at the bottom, she sprang to her feet. Back near Alden, Abi released the trigger on her mini-gun. She looked down at the crossbow bolt in her chest.)
AM: Missed my heart... not gonna last much longer, but still alive. With this... KILL EM ALL!
Janet was eliminated by Abi's mini-gun; Kaitlin lost 4HP from Janet's uzi but regained 2HP from Goodfella's pizza; Abi lost 3HP from a crossbow bolt to the chest
(Obadiah opened the door to Morton Hall's roof. Dead center was a clear box. Inside... pizza. Healthy or not, it would give him some energy. Wincing in pain, he pressed the PSG1 against the roof to help him walk. Collapsing, he flipped open the box lid and pulled out the prize.)
O: It ends now. Obadiah's gonna win... gonna win it all, just you see!
Obadiah regained 2HP from Goodfella's pizza
*BLAAAAAAM!*
(Fullhart's magnum round punched a hole in the metal doors of Perkins Hall. Having given up his chase on Obadiah, Fullhart was stalking new prey, the woman he'd seen dashing away from the fight earlier.)
*BLAAAAAAM!*
(A second shot smashed through the doors' windows and went all the way through the lobby, shattering a window there as well. A huge glass shard dropped down and stabbed into Jen's hand.)
MF: Jen! I know you can hear me! Give up now and I'll make your death painless!
JM: Hmph. The little creep's enjoying this. He knows where I am but I don't know just where he's at. Even with this gun I'm at the disadvantage.
MF: Count of three, Jen, and then I'm coming for ya!
JM: Perfect. Walk in and show yourself. I'll mow you down.
(Jen picked up her MP5... and saw a submachinegun busted all to hell. No doubt about it, Fullhart's first shot had gotten her gun after piercing the door.)
JM: Shi-...
(Jen caught herself and took a deep breath.)
JM: Alright. Calm down now. The situation is bad but it's not impossible. Just gotta find a way to get out of this.
MF: ONE!
(Jen looked around the lobby but obviously, nothing useful was to be found. A gust of wind blew in from outside, coming through the lobby window which had been shattered by Fullhart's bullet. The curtains flew up and in the grassy yard in the rear of Perkins, Jen saw it.)
JM: Looks like my luck just keeps getting better and better.
MF: TWO!
(Rearing back, Jen hurled her destroyed MP5 out the broken lobby window.)
JM: There! There's my gun!
MF: Good, good. Guess you've come to your senses. Now all that's left to do is put this gun to your head and-
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
(The front doors of Perkins Hall exploded from their hinges. Fullhart jumped to the side, avoiding the flying metal, glass, and brick. As the smoke cleared, he saw Jen walking out.)
MF: What the hell just happened?!
JM: This... is what happened, my dear Mr. Fullhart.
(Emerging from the dust cloud swirling around the front of Perkins, Jen held the Arwen grenade launcher over her shoulder. She smiled and brought the gun down, aiming it at Fullhart.)
