Four months late...
The deep blue is refreshing for the eyes, isn't it? Spring break has begun in my district; therefore, I have finally alotted enough time to spend on finishing the Post-Its of things-to-do in my mind--and luckily, "redesigning the site" came first.
One of the more noticeable changes is the font: The previous font face was Tahoma at 12 points, but I decided that using Georgia at 13 points as the theme font face will reflect the comprehensive Wikipedia look onto nubs.org. In retrospect, I don't see how I created a connection between Wikipedia and this site at the time. But it doesn't matter; I was (and still am) tired beyond hell.
Furthermore...throughout this week, I will be adding numerous tutorials to the archives, as I actually try to attempt to enrich nubs.org with more content. Although I have a list of FAQs (frequently asked questions) that I want to thoroughly answer with a tutorial, tutorial topic suggestions are always welcome.
Other than the new design, new font, and promised content, nothing much have changed. Enjoy.

Nubs.org Due 7/30?

Rants

Whoops, guys. Still in the old layout. A new one won't be coming anytime soon (out of all honesty)

However, I WILL consider making a T-shirt design for people that are local to me-- the Southwest Houston area to be exact, and I'm figuring the cost of how much each will be. If I get a substancial amount of people willing to purchase a shirt, the price would be reasonable, so ask your friends.
Contact me on AIM if you want one.

New style taken from a business card design I saw.
You remember this one from the images section. Or you should.
And perhaps a new slogan to tag along with? The current logo (as seen above) has a bland style to it, and I would revamp this sloppy website layout into something more smoothing to the eye, but after figuring the time needed to build another creative yet productive design, I was surprised to have found out that I am a busy man. So in retrospect, the solution for an alternative of building a new site, at least what I settled upon myself, is simply a new logo idea. A new look to it, a new font, a new way to present "nubs.org," and a new catchphrase, too? "nubs.org, the idiot's [or s'] resource" seems too boring, so to speak, and I'm pretty sure my idle and some abandoned nubs.org staff can come up with something much better than what I have created. Although, I doubt I would get any feedback on this, but I'll bite the bullet and offer an opportunity: if anyone has a smarter catchphrase, niftier logo idea, or even your own stylish logo design, feel infinitely free to send any suggestions/work over to dani@nubs.org (send .PSD if it's your own work please). As for myself, I have created my own "bits" of logo designs from my genius mind or maybe some assistance with ideas from designs for other companies (corperate pieces at worth1000.com -- very skilled people). Obviously, they're shown on the right, and it isn't really much but strange and abstract content is always better than a blank space.
Oh yeah. An honorable mention is awarded for this post and its respective author, dani (that's me), for submitting the first newsletter-like piece of content on nubs.org. I'll try doing more of this style later on. It really looks better and more professional than the usual laid-back, never-updated, kick-ass website that nubs.org is.
That's all. In conclusion: It's time for change.
