Shigure Sohma
Shigure is one of the twelve
cursed members of the Sohma clan, as well as one of the oldest cursed members.
Shigure is easy-going and laid-back, Shigure has a carefree sense of humour, but
can sometimes be a little perverted ^^. He owns the house that he, Yuki, Kyo and
Tohru live in, and works as as novelist. When embraced by someone of the
opposite sex, the curse transforms Shigure into the dog of the Chinese zodiac.
He also hates people tearing up his house and making fun of his editor Mii-Chan.
Yuki Sohma
Yuki is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma clan. Popular at school because of his intelligence, good looks, charming personality and athletic ability, Yuki is called a "prince" by the female population, and even has his own fan club. However, due to the curse and his own nature, he prefers not to get too close to other people - until he meets Tohru. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Yuki transforms into the rat of the Chinese zodiac...the animal that, in the legends, tricked the cat out of its place among the other animals. He also looks quite feminine and sometimes flirts with Yuki.
Hiro Sohma
Hiro is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma clan, and one of the youngest cursed members. Though he can be a bit of a brat and a jerk, Hiro really only cares about those he loves, (such as Kisa) so sometimes his love comes out in the form of jealousy and arrogance. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Hiro transforms into the sheep of the Chinese zodiac. His relationship with Kisa is cute and he is really jealous of Tohru because how close she is with Kisa.
Kisa Sohma
Kisa is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma clan, and one of the youngest members. A quiet and shy girl by nature, Kisa only wants to be accepted, and she comes to view Tohru as an older sister - she even calls Tohru "Sissy" and follows her around with devotion. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Kisa transforms into the tiger of the Chinese zodiac. If you ask me she is the cutest and one of my favourite female members. She is really kawaii and her relationships with Hiro and Haru is cute too.
Ritsu Sohma
Ritsu is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma clan. Unconfident and apologetic, Ritsu only seeks acceptance and the ability to face the world. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Ritsu transforms into the monkey of the Chinese zodiac. He is the son of the hot springs lady and it is because of his parents apologizing for everything he did when he was younger that he is often apologizing himself. Like Ayame, Ritsu is a cross dresser.
Hatori Sohma
Hatori is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma clan, and one of the oldest cursed members. Hatori is also the Sohma family's personal doctor, and he has the ability to erase memories - which comes in use whenever an outsider discovers the family secret. Due to past circumstances, he has become a cold and withdrawn person, but he actually cares deeply for those around him. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Hatori transforms into the dragon of the Chinese zodiac. These past circumstances is his old girlfriend and near fiancée Kana.
Ayame Sohma
Ayame is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma family, and one of the oldest cursed members. Flamboyant and flashy, Ayame runs his own business - something of a lingerie and fabric store, his assistant is Mine and she often wears a maids dress. He is also Yuki's estranged older brother. Yuki doesn't seem to like him that much for circumstances that happened when they were younger. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Ayame transforms into the snake of the Chinese zodiac. He has a very funny relationship with Hatori and Shigure.
Rin Sohma
Rin is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma family. She is stern, serious and sometimes hard to understand. She is often the hospital because of Akito's attacks. She was Haru's girlfriend but she dumped him to protect him but she does seem to have a liking for Shigure but he has played her around before. She is set to make sure that she doesn't tell Haru that she loves him. She wants to forget what has happened but she does want to end the curse. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Rin transforms into the horse of the Chinese Zodiac.
Kureno Sohma
Kureno is one of the twelve cursed members of the Sohma family, as well as one of the oldest. Not much is known about him other than he serves Akito and never gets out. he meets Uotami and falls for her but he hasn't seen her since their one date. It is rumoured that his curse is broken. When embraced by a member of the opposite sex, Kureno transforms into the rooster of the Chinese Zodiac.
Enemy -
Akito Sohma
Akito is the head of the Sohma family, but he is not one of the animals in the Sohma family curse. However, he is mysterious, dark and almost unfeeling - and he demands extreme loyalty from all members of the zodiac, no matter what the cost. He also made Hatori blind in his left eyes, knocked Kisa into a wall and knocked Rin out of the window. (in the manga he is actually female)
