Stubborn Luv

I've decided to call this page the Stubborn couples, basically because the MEN are blind to the great women in front of them. Women who are always there for them and have shown they care. The guys are just a little bit dense, but in a way that's one of the things that make these couples extremely cute. On this page I'll be talking about three couples, from three different animes. Ryhou & Sherice (s-CRY-ed), Ash & Misty (Pokemon), and Mai & Joey (Yugioh).

Ryuho & Sherice

I absoluoely love this couple, even though it wasn't an offical couple. They are just tooo cute!

Ryuho -is the cold 17 year old. He was born in the City and his family is very wealthy. When he was young his mother and dog were killed by a Native Alter (at least that's what he thinks). In order to get revenge he joined HOLY. At the beginning he seems awfully cold and mean and it seems HOLY is his life, but later on in the series after he gets amnesia we see another side to him (kinder and caring sign). He fights with Kazuma A LOT!

Sherice - Is a perky 15 year old. Although she seems to be very cheerful and carefree she does care a lot about her job at HOLY. She is Ryuho's partner, but not in fighting, she seems to be the organizer. She has an obvious crush on him and follows him pretty much anywhere ~_^

Ryuho and Sherice meet when she was younger and he saved her from Native Alter holding pen. He suggested that she join HOLY and she did. Then she became his partner and goes pretty much wherever he goes. Her feelings for him are obvious to everyone except to him, unless he knows about them and just ignores them (>_<). Sherice always want to be near him ^_^ and gets jealous once Mimori comes into the picture.

Hints That they care (anime hints):

• Ryuho- Sherice watches Ruyho take care of some inners. After meeting Mimori, Sherice tells her that even though they (Ruyho & Mimori) come fram similiar background that they are very different. Kinda telling her to back off lol.

• Holy- Ryuho got punched by Kazuma and starts bleeding from his mouth and almost falls down. Sherice runs to his side hitting Mimori as she passes her and looks really worried. Ruyho tells her "Don't worry, I'm all right."

• Mimori Kiryu- Sherice gets jealous when she sees Ryuho get in a car with Mimiori. Later in the ep Couger and Ryuho are going to go to a medical unit that got attacked cause Mimori is ther etoo. Sherice hopsin the car without permission and on their little car ride she and couger talk about the Mimori & Ryuho being friends since they were little and that they are only friends. Ryuho who's in the backseat sits quiet and is ignored by the others.
  
  *After aeeing ryuho and Mimori get in the car*
  Sherice: But, why's he? I always thought we were...what's he doing with her? What's going on?

• Zetsuei- They have a nice little conversation. Later in the ep Ruyho hears word about where Kazuma is and leaves Sherice at an inner farm (I think it was for her own protection). Sherice leaves the farm after a bit and finds Ryuho and Kazuma fighting. Ryuho loses a lot of energy at the end and faints. Sherice rans to him and sets his head on her lap. Then she uses her alter to knock him back to consioucness.
  
  Sherice: You know...there's something very attractive about a man who believes in himself and does what he believes is right, but then again if he's not careful that can create a huge gap between him and others.
  Ryuho: So is that a warning?
  Sherice: Not at all. It's just something I learned from experince.

• Asuka Tachibana- Ryuho and Sherice were wlaking together but Mimori butts into thier conversation as soon as Sherice was about to as him how he felt. Ryuho kinda gives Mimori the cold shoulder (hahaha).

• Mad Script- While Mimori and kazuma are out on what looks like a date, Sherice is with Ruyho and it looks like they're on a date too.
  
  Sherice: They look like lovers on a date. Do you think it's possible we look like that too?
  Ryuho: hmm what?
  Sherice: No, nevermind. I didn't say anything.

• Shell Bullet- Sherice is happy that Ruyho tells Mimori to butt out and go home when she bad mouths Holy.

• Super Pinch- Sherice tries making Ryuho feel better by telling him that he'll see kazuma again.

• Alters- Ryuho is having a bad dream and Sherice wakes him up. The sits next to him and asks him what he was dreaming about. The look cute together hehe...

• Kinihiko Kimishima- Sherice and Ruyho yell at each other...hey relationships have thier ups and DOWNS right? hehe

• Lost Ground- Ryuho leaves Sherice behind for protection and searces for Kazuma but Kazuma kidnaps Sherice in revenge for Kimishima's death and hurts her. Ryuho gets super pissed and goes back only to find a beaten Sherice. he tells Urizane to wtach over and her then goes after kazuma. Sherice gos to him later while he's in battle and cries for him as a bright light cause by an attack of Kazuma and his connect.
  
  Sherice: Ryuho...
  Ruyho: Sherice. Yes? Is something wrong?
  Sherice: I'm sorry
  Ryuho: Sherice what's happened?!
  
  *to Kazuma*
  Ryuho: You! What did you do to Sherice? Answer ME!

• Kyouji Mujyo- Sherice cries while she thinks about Ryuho. (Ryuho disappeared in the battle with Kazuma and she doesn't know where he is)

• Stray Man- Sherice is happy cause she finds Ruyho but he's willing to fight her to protect a small villiage beceause he's lost his memories.
  
  Sherice: RYUHO! Oh thank heavens your ok.

• Sou Kigetsuki- Sherice convinces Ruyho to listen to what she has to say. He tells him about his family and who he is. She also adds that they were lovers but then being the honest sweetheart she is she admitted that that was a lie and that it was more like her "wishful thinking". She tells him that she'll stay with him though because she wants to be with him. Ryho he need stime to thinks so Sherice leaves but he later rescues her when he gets his memory back and she does stay withhim (the drop out of holy).
  
  Ryuho: So if everything you say is true, then that means that you and I are collegues.
  Sherice: Atually we were more than just collegues you and i were also lovers.
  Ryuho: I had no idea. Then I hope you can forgive me. I honestly have no idea who you are but I would imagne i have caused you a lot of pain because of my memory lost.
  Sherice: It's true. You have no idea. *looks at his expresiona nd smiles* Just fooling. The two of us were never lover. It was just wishful thinking on my part.

• Ayase Terada- Sherice gets Ryuho a snack, he doesn't like it but she tells him not to complain and he agrees and thanks her. Then they have a small convo about the villigers and what Ryuho was going to do...also about her feelings...
  
  Sherice: You're always obsesed with some cause.
  Ruyho: You're right. I guess that's why I've never been able to accept how you feel about me.
  Sherice: *shyly while blushing* Ryuho...*reaches out to hold his hand but gets intruppted by Kanami...who at this point i said..."DIE" to*

• Straight Couger- Sherice tells Ryuho that he should go after Kanami who goes in search for Kazuma alone. She tells him that she'l look over the small village.
  
  Sherice: Remember, you gotta come back no matter hwat. I'm getting tired of waiting.
  Ryuho: Thank you

• Tokonatsu Three Sisters- Sherice talks to herslef aboout Ryuho. Ryuho goes back to town cause it's been attacked. Sherice is abused and is forced to use her power which weakens her. She calls after Ryuho when there seems to be no hope and he shows up. He goes to her worried but then she sees that Mimori is there too so she gets mad and asks what she is doing there. Mimori says she sorry when she understands why Sherice is upset but Sherice tells her to shut up lolololol.
  
  *to herself*
  Sherice: Come back soon Ryuho. Please come back...*grins and giggles* Just kidding...
  
  *when he shows up to save her*
  Ryuho: What is it Sherice? Did you use your attack? I should have come back sooner. I'm sorry.
  Sherice: It's all right. I knew you'd come.

• Kanami Yuta- Ryuho gets upset and leaves. sherice tries going after him but is stopped by Couger. Ryuho then meets Kazuma and tells him that he still hasn't forgiven him for hurting Sherice. Sherice and Mimori meanwhile have a small chat about thier feelings for Ryuho.

• Holy Eye- Mimiori & ryuho finally admit their feelings. Sherice is thoughtful and tells herself that she knew it would happen all along but that it was the way they (RxS) met that kept her having hope.

• Martin Sigmar- Sherice goes into Holy to look for Ruyho. She's very desprete to find him.

• Sherice Adjani- The episode starts out with the meeting betweet Sherice and Ryuho and how he set her free. Later she finds him and she sees as he he is getting beaten so bad that she believe he is dead. She runs to him ignoring all the injuries she's getting from nearby attacking machines. When she gets very upset, she tries wking him and tells him he can't die cause he still has a lot to live for and he hasn't accomplishes his goals. She then tells him that she won't let him die and starts using her alter, "Eternal Devote" to save him. She gives up her live for his and as she's tranfering her power to him, she kisses him. When Ryuho wakes up, he see's Sherice's clothes but no sherice. He knows what she did and is very upset and asks her why she would gice her life for someone like him. He then has flashbacks of when he met her and things she's said to him and says there's nothing he can do...Kazuma gets mad and tells him that he can cry for her. Ryuho looked at Sherice's clothes and says her name repeatedly, after saying it twice it finally sinks in that she is gone and he cries...A LOT! It was teh saddest episode ever...he seemed to be in real big pain..

This two are just perfect for each other. You only give your life for someone if you really care for them and Sherice gave up her life for the man she loved. It's all sooooo sad, yet sweet ~_^ Ryuho & Sherice 4EVER!

Ash & Misty

The only Couple that seems to be real in Pokemon is of course the cute AAML (Ash & Misty Love).

If you have watched Pokemon before, you know there's something going on between Ash & Misty. It's only made obvious in the thousands (exaggerating...kinda hehe) of seasons that they are both in. If you can't see it, then i'm afraid to have to tell you you might need glasses.

Ash is of course the determined, stubborn boy from Pallet going off into the world to become a pokemon Master, along with his faithful pokemon and pal Pikachu. He loves Pokemon and eating ^_^

Misty is the pretty gurl he happened to bump into at the very beginning of his journey. She's a stubborn and very hot tempered gal. The reason she started tagging along with Ash was because he destroyed her bike while running away from an angry flock of Sparrows.

There are thousands of clues that hinted to this couple! ^_^ And now it's my duty to tell you what they were (which is gonna be a pain in the behind since there were a lot...how bout I just give cute ones and the ones that really matter heheh ^_^''')

General Hints

• When the group are in danger either Ash or Misty will call out the other's name rather than Brock's/Tracey's.

• Misty tends to grab hold of Ash rather a lot when she's scared of anything. ( A lot of the times bugs mwahhaha).

• She Cheers like a mad woman when he battles.

• There always saving each other when they're about to fall off a cliff or when they are gonna be blown away. That kinda thing ~_^

• They get jealous and it's SOOOO CUTE hehehe.

Episode Hints

• Ash Catches A Pokemon - Misty sweatdrops when she says she's only following him to get her bike back, suggesting that's not the real reason. She also comments dreamily 'I've never known anyone like him'.

• Here comes the squrtle squad! - When Ash came in the hideout late and no one was there, one of the first things he was worried about was Misty's well being, he asked her if her hair had been dyed lol.

• Electric Shock Showdown - Ash and Misty reach the Pokemon Center and begin to fight about something. Nurse Joy then says "When two people fight, it means they really care for each other." Misty and Ash hurriedly deny this but both blush deeply. Also when they are coming out, Ash say's something about a lucky star shining for him and Pikachu. Misty comes up behind him and looks around while asked, "a Star? How can you see a Star in the middle of the day?" (lol). He say's it was just a saying and huffs away while Misty watches him and smiles.

• Island of the Giant Pokemon - Ash, Misty and Brock are laying on a beach unconscious where they were washed up after escaping the sinking St. Anne cruise ship and getting attacked by some Gyarados. Ash wakes up first and in a panic, rushes over to Misty and shakes her saying "Misty, Misty wake up!". After she awakes he calms down and then says "Hey Brock" to Brock. He is much more concerned about Misty.

• The Tower of Terror - When they're walking along and the fog sets in, Ash suggests that they hold hands. He and Misty don't even have to look before they grab each other's hands. Brock is just left wandering behind them but then he grabs on to Pikachis tail making Pikachu shock hi and at the surprise Misty clings to Ash. Then when Ash is a ghost he decides to take Misty for a ride rather than Brock, and he grasps her round the waist rather than under her arms or somewhere less conspicuous, before that thought he states "So, Misty, you really are worried about me!" when he overhears her worrying. While Ash & Pikachu are out having fun as Ghost, Brock and Misty find Ash's and Pikachu's bodies. Misty then begs Ash to wake up...and when he does, the first thing he says is "Hi, Misty" and she gasps and says "You're alive!" and then wipes her eyes...she was crying !

• The Ghost of Maiden's Peak - Misty asks Ash to dance and Ash, after gazing unbelievingly at the way she looks, agrees.

• March of the Executtor squad - when Ash sees Misty in her magician's assistant outfit, he says something like, "Hey, cute outfit, Misty!", while Misty blushes. And then when Ash is trampled by the Exceggutor, she's at his side, begging him to wake up again before telling Pikachu to try and wake him up.

• Princess Vs Princess - When Ash sees Misty all dressed up, he's just staring at her like 'whoa...'. And then when Misty's begging them to let her use their Pokémon, Ash says "You must really want that picture with Fiorello" - Jealous lately?

• Friends To The End - Misty tries to cheer Ash up, despite her obvious annoyance at his sulking and him pushing her away.

• Pokeball Peril - Ash and Misty's horrified over-reaction to Team Rocket taunting them about being 'lovebirds' suggests they have something to hide. They were blushing and kept saying "It's NOT TRUE!" Lol, gotta love that ep.

• Naval Manuevers - when Ash and Danny are climbing the mountain and Misty and Tracey are riding up the mountain, Misty yells out "Please be extra careful, Danny!". Ash says "What's she so worried about him for?", slips, and almost falls down the mountain. Jealousy brings bad Karma Ashy boy heheh. The when they got on top of the mountain Misty runs over to him and Danny. Ash is happy and starts running towards her but is surprised when she passes him and she goes to Danny and offers to share her blanket with him, Ash goes...'What about me?' in disappointed tone.

• Where For Art Thou, Pokemon? - Misty is talking about how the two trainers aren't mature enough to admit that they really like each other, Tracey steps in with...
  
  "You know, it's the same way with you and Ash!" and they both freak out at him .
  
  The in the end of the ep when the Nidoran's kiss, then evolve, Ash asks, 'Do people change when they get kissed?' Misty says. 'We'll just have to wait and see'.

• Misty Meets Her Match - Rudy asks Misty to stay on his island! But instead of staying with someone who would treat her wonderfully and be really nice to her, she decides to stay with Ash. Plus, at the end Rudy says, "You know ash, you're a very lucky guy" Ash of course is confused, but then Rudy says, "You'll find out someday." Ash's jealousy throughout the ep, he even starts to lose the battle until Misty starts cheering him on. That's when Rudy realizes who she wants and say's, "she wants him".

• Forest Grumps - When running from angry Ursaring, Jessie and Misty switch groups! So Ash, Brock and PIkachu are all worried about Misty, when they see each other finally, Misty says, "It's Ash!" And Ash is the only one who says "It's Misty!" Not only that, but at the very end, Ash says, "You had us all worried there, Misty, I'm glad your okay" and she tells gim that she actually missed them hehe.

• The Heartbreak of Brock -
  
  Ash: Wow, Brock's getting married?
  Misty: You and I will be married someday too.
  Ash: mhmm... WAAA?!
  
  Also, when Misty is trying to get brock to talk to Tamoku, she slips out, "It's a lot easier to like someone who likes you then to like someone who doesn't" Then Brock asked how she knows and she gets flustered.

• Love, Pokemon Style- Misty get jealous one! This is in the last episodes of Johto when one of the trainers asked Ash on a date, and Misty get jealous! She pulled his arm and said he was booked.
  
  
• Gotta Catch you later! - Misty has to leave back to her gym because her sisters are going on tour. When she tells Ash is doesn't seem upset by it and that gets her upset and she runs off. later on Ash and Brock help her fight of some guys and then it's time for them to split and Misty rememberes everything she's been though with ash (it' sooo SAD!). Then they say goodbye and ash promises they will see each other again. Brock leaves in this episode as well. Here are some quotes from the ep.
  
  Misty: How could Ash talk to me like that, after all we've been though, like it ment nothing to him...Worst part, he isn't even sad about us haveing to split up...
  
  Misty: Will I ever see you again?
  Ash: You will, I swear.
  
  Misty: (to herself) Now I know how you feel about me Ash Ketchum...

The Movies

• Pokemon: The First Movie - Nothing two important, just her worrying about him as usual. But on the DVD thee producer of the show/movie says, "on our record album, we elude to the fact that Misty has a crush on Ash and vice-versa" (YAY! The Song is called "Misty's Song" and it's currently playing as yur background ^_^...or was)
  
  

• Pokemon 2000: Revelation Lugia - Misty gets jealous when Melody kisses Ash on the cheek. She the tells Ash that she's not going with him when he's ready to go on his journey beacuse she tells him that she's not his "girlfriend" and he should get a girlfriend to go with him. Then she talks to Melody about not being his "girlfriend" when she starts worrying and they follow him. At then end, Ash is out in the Ocean and Melody was about to go n after him but Misty stops her and tells her that "Ash will never be alone...he has me" and then she goes inside the ocean for him.
  
  Melody: What are you coming for?
  Misty: To find Ash! And before you start saying it's because I secretly like him, don't, 'cause I don't!
  Melody: Hey, chill out! You sure are sensitive about someone who's not your boyfriend!
  Misty: He's not my boyfriend! He's a boy and he's a friend, but he's not a boyfriend!

• Misty: Let's find Ash!
  Melody: Yeah, and if he needs help, his girlfriend's here!
  Misty: But I'm not...
  Melody: Well, like you said, you are a girl and you are his friend!
  

• Pokemon 4ever - Sometime along the movie when the four (They pick up a friend for the movie) are running from a pokemon.. Misty trips and Ash (and Brock) run back to help her back. When they get to safety, at least for a minute, Misty discovers she can't walk, and some pokemon are about o attack them. Ash runs out in front of her and spreads his arms out to protect her
  

Awwwww, Welll that was FUN! Heehhehe. Seee isn't it just obvious? But kids will be kids and they will probably be stubborn until the end. But then again it doesn't matter how long it takes cause AAML lovers will always believe ~_^ GO AAML!

Joey & Mai

Sexual Tension that is so freaken cute and funny would be that of Joey Wheeler and Mai Valentine! There's kinda of an age difference (at least that's what I've seen on research I've done...Mai seems to be at least 5 years older ^_^''') but, Love can't be stopped by age right hehehe ~_^

Joey- Joey is kinda of...well...stupid. But his cuteness makes up for it doesn't it? Just look at him hehehe. Anyway even thought he's a lil on the not so bright side he's heart is always in the right place and he becomes a great duel player ^_^ He likes to act tough but he's really just a sweetheart. His very loyal to his friends and would do anything for them and his sister who he really loves. He's very determined to become a true duelist but can sometimes become over confident. His parents are divorced and his sister was blind but he helped cure it by winning an duel with a money prize and paying for her surgery. He's a sweet, cute, guy.

Mai- At first Mai didn't like the group much and was a loner. She had no friends and she only cared about herself. She likes to act tough and insult her opponent while dueling but she's different out of battle. She's pretty friendly and gets along with everyone. Her closest friend is Joey ~_^ She sort of sometimes have low self esteem and it made her join with the evil side but she was saved ^_^ *cough*Joey*cough*

These two show obvious attraction and hints that they like each other. They're just so shy and stubborn about it lol. And that's one of the things that make them completely adorable!

• Mai gave Joey her entry card in Duelist Kingdom when she heard why he wanted the money (his sister).
  
  Joey: "Does this mean we're friends Mai?"
  Mai: "Dork, of course we're friends."

• Legendary Heroes (Part 2) - Joey and Mai stop fighting in Kabia's virtual game when they find out they are battling each other.
  
  Mai: "I knew guys could be dirty as pigs, didn't know they could dress the part."
  Joey: "You know what I like about butterflies? They don't talk!"
  
  Joey: Go, 'Drumsticks'!
  Mai: Ummm, guys. Joey named his chicken

• Mai: "Joey, what do you think you're doing? [sighs] That doofus would do anything to meet a girl. I guess he knows that I'm way out of his league."

• Mai: "Careful, everyone. Keepn your hands and feet away from Joey's mouth."
  Joey: chokes on food
  Mai: "Are you okay?"
  Joey: "Yeah, happens all da time!"
  Mai: "Disgusting."
  
  Mai: Where's Joey?
  Joey: (peeks out from behind curtain) Back here an' I'm not comin' out.
  Mai: Come on ,Joey.
  Joey:(pulls head in and pushes back curtain)
  Look at me I'm wearin' a bathroom rug here.

• Mai: (throws her arms around Joey) YOU DID IT!
  Joey: Get off me!
  
  

• Legendary Heroes (Part 3) - Mai cries when Joey is defeated in the game and disapears(virtual game). She then angrily attacks and vanishes as well.

• Friends Till the End - Mai tells him that he shouldn't be embarrassed after the courage he showed by risking his life to save Yugi ^_^

• Lights, Camera, Duel - was a TOTAL Mai/Joey ep. Some big movie star wanted to marry Mai and Joey told her to go for it lol. He just wanted to go to her Hollywood Mansion. Mai said no, but the movie star said that she had promise to Marry him if he beat her at a duel a long time ago. She agrees to a duel with him and later finds that he's become a stronger dueler. Throughout her duel Joey encourages her and tries to help her when she's having a rough time. Seems like he doesn't want her to lose anymore huh ~_^ When she finally wins Jean-Claude Magnum kidnaps her and Joey goes running after them. The stunt man that has Mai in the air (he's grabbing her and he's on a big kite) drops her when she starts to struggle. mai falls but grabs on to a light pole, below her Joey is screaming her name and telling her to hold on. He opens his arms and tells her to drop down and that he'll catch her. She tells him he's crazy but eventually does what he asks. He catches her and then Magnum tries to help her up but she tells him that he's a fake and the real hero is on the ground resting (lolol, Joey gets knocked out cause Mai lands on him). She then helps him walk until he pisses her off my remarking that when she gets married she's gonna drive her husband nuts lol.

  

  Joey: Mai! You wouldn't happen to have a Harpy's Feather Duster in your hand, would you?
  Mai: Don't you think I would have played it by now if I did?
  Joey: In that case, what should I wear to your Hollywood wedding?

  Mai: Thanks to Joey here, I'm fine...AND I don't have to marry that creep!
  Joey: Even if you did get married, you'd drive your husband crazy!
  *Mai drops Joey to the ground*

  

• Mind Game (pt 1) - Joey has a dream about his friends. Mai asks him if she was in it and he lies and tells her no, cause he didn't want her to know that he was dreaming about her, even thought she was like teh center of attention in the dream. Mai then gets mad at Joey (hurt that he doesn't think of her as a friend) and decides that she doesn't need anyone. She goes against Marik in the next duel and is losing.

• Mind Game (pt 2) - Mai is forgetting all her friends because she's losing the duel with Marik. Marik made it a shadow game and every time she loses life points she loses the memory of a friend. Joey yells out to her throught out the duel and in confused when she doesn't answer. She has forgotten everything about him.
  
  Joey:(After Mai loses her memory of Joey) Hey Mai, it's me! How could you forget a mug like me?!?

• Mind Game (pt 3) - Marik is going to attack Mai with his The Winged Dragon of Ra. Joey rushes in to help her but she doesn't know who he is. He then grabs her face and tells her it's Joey. He also tells her that she was in his dream and that she considers him a friend. She snaps out of the spell but she's still can't move away from the attack because of one of Mariks cards, Sacred Stone has her locked up. Marik then orders Ra to attack Mai but Joey gets in front of her. Mai tells him to get away but he tells her that he's not leaving her. They both preapre to be blasted but Yugi gets the blast instead. Mai still loses the duel and Marik prepares to take her into the shadow realm. Joey tries to stop him but gets paralyzed, then he holds onto Mai, after her mind is in the shadow realm. He promises that he will get her back.
  
  Marik: "The connection between the two broke dark power."

• The Darkness Returns (Pt 1-4) - Joey risks his life to get Mai back from the shadow world, he loses the duel and faints. Throughout the ep Joey thinks of Mai.

• The final Face Off (Pt 5)- Joey worries when Mai doesn't wake up after Mariks defeated (she's fine just playing a trick on him lol). Joey goes to Mai's room and she is still lying there, motionless. Then one of her eyes opens. Serenity looks at Mai and Mai says to Joey "I can't believe you were worried about me so much". Joey gets mad and starts calling Mai names. Serenity chuckles. Mai then apologies to Joey for that.

• My Freaky Valentine (Pt 1-3) - Mai has joined the bad team beacuse she was having some emotional problems and feels alone. She blames it all on Joey and battles him with the The Seal of Orichalcos, which will take the soul of the loser. Joey is worried about dueling her because he doesn't want her should to be taken. He keeps trying to break the spell by telling her of the past. It doesn't work.

• Fighting for a Friend (pt 5) - Joey faces Mai once again. This time he is determined to get her back. They both remember things they've been through together. Mai admits that there's something about Joey, and she's determined to win the duel. A thousand moves later (exaggerating) Mai is about to win, she only has to attack him one last time but she doesn't. It all comes back to her and Joey congraulates her as he starts falling since a lot of energy has been taken from him. Mai runs to him as the Seal of Orichalcos starts to close. She tells them she didn't attack so it's not over. But the seal is still closing. Joey tells her that he's happy she's the one that's not losing their soul and pushes her out of the seal. His soul is taken away. Mai cries as she holds him and blames herself. She then goes to avenge him by going to face Dratz...her soul gets taken too.
  
  Mai: "You're the closest friend I ever had. And how did I repay you? By leaving you for a madman who promised me power." Mai says after Joey was taken by the Seal of Orichalos.

AWWWWW so SAD yet sooo CUTE and HEART WARMMING. Fighting for someone you care about. You know it's love, don't ya? It' to cute no to be. Anyway Mai & Joey forever!
