The former Fighter for Hire, Sanosuke. Sano is a tough street fighter with amazing strength. He's known for having great skills with his fists, and after fighting with Kenshin and losing, he becomes friends with the Kenshin-gumi and becomes part of the group. Sanosuke is protective over his friends, and will beat up anyone who harms them without a second thought.

Known as the Fox Lady, this naughty doctor attracts many men's attention. Megumi previously was forced to worked for Kanryu Takaeda making opium, a deadly drug that killed Sanosuke's friend. After Sanosuke and Megumi came to friendly terms, the doctor began to live with Dr. Genzai.

Misao is a member of the Oniwaban Group. She was raised by Shinimori Aoshi, the Oniwaban's okashira (leader.) This ninja has a strong will and can be very abnoxious at times, due to her loud voice. Aside from the fact that she can be annoying, Misao is a very loyal friend and family member.
