~^~ Heyaz! Welcome to my small shrine for the series of Magic Knight Rayearth! I love this show! I have only read the Manga but I hope and plan to buy the anime series! Anywayz, this story starts off with three simple girls, Umi Ryuzaki(left), Hikaru Shidou(middle), and Fuu Houji(right)get summoned to Cephiro to save the pillar system and now their lives have become one big adventure, full of monsters, wizards, and an epic quest! Their mission in Cephiro was to become the Legendary Magic Knights, awaken the mashin gods, and Rescue Princess Emaurade from the evil Sol Zagato!~^~
~*~ Hikaru Shidou may be short, but she's just as old as Umi and Fuu, 14 to be exact. Her family runs a Kendo Dojo, so she's experienced with a sword. A constant optimistic and loyal friend, Hikaru is eager to help the people of Cephiro. Her magical Element is Fire.~*~
~*~ Umi Ryuzaki is the only child of wealthy parents, so she is used to getting what she wants. She starts off her journey a bit of a snob, but she has a good heart and has proven herself a true friend to Hikaru and Fuu. A fencer in her club, she's also adept with a sword. Her magical element is water.~*~
~*~ Fuu Houji is a bright student and an overacheiver. She stays very calm under pressure and deals with their fantastic situtations in a logical manner. She was the member of the archery team in school. Her magical element is wind. (All three decriptions are CLAMP's decriptions not mine, but I'll get to my own descriptions later. ^__^;;)~*~
~*~Why do I like it, you ask? Well, I think this story is beautifully put together with many surprises waiting for you every second. Plus, the characters also bring to life the story line! Umi Ryuzaki, being my fave character, sort of reminds me of...well,.. me, except the whole being the only child born in a wealthy family, but a girl can dream can't she? ~*~
