The Early Years:

Setechmet or 'Set' for short was born to the one of the palaces near the nile. He was born into a family that honors the god Anubis and held annual festivals and built temples in his honor. Set's mother, Sakhmet was a kind women who ruled with the Pharaoh. For years they ruled in peace, bring wealth to there lands until Set's mother came to be pregnant with a gift from Anubis The Pharaoh took this the wrong way and was ready to kill them both until Anubis stopped everything. The Pharaoh agreed to allow the child to live. Once the cursed child was born he was sent away to the slave yards. Missing her child that she never gotten to know or even care for she pleaded for another. This time the Pharaoh bestowed her with Set. As time passed Set was born, but sadly Sekhmet died giving birth to him. Her last words were for Kira, the cursed child to watch over his younger brother. He had grown since time had passed and he agreed reluctantly. Hating Set for being blessed with the crown and the kingdom. The Pharaoh loved the child and wanted him to be just like him in his place of ruling, but Set never picked up on his fathers personality. Kira on the other hand he liked and came to consider his only family. Kira over time started to like Set and began to be his mentor and caretaker until he was sent back to the slaveyards by the Pharaoh. Set had already developed his own personality which clashed with his father numerous time. Displeased the Pharaoh kept him away from the outside world in an attempt to get him to obey better....
