RACCOON PD
There was the sound of cursing, and several thumps as heavy bags were being carried into the underground parking lot, and tossed into a hummer there. The lock on the door was scratched slightly, meaning that the owner of the voice didn't own the vehicle. When the last weapons were placed inside of it, the owner of the voice stood, and wiped the thin beading of sweat from his forehead.
"Now...there's a fatass with my name on it..." Jotaru said as he closed the door, and looked down at the other pocket on his shirt with a grin.
He turned his head slightly, then shrugged it off, and headed back for the entrance to the lot, already thinking of the payback he was about to deliever to Irons. Well, this should teach him some respect, at least....
The police department seemed to be eeriely quiet. There was muffled crying from Iron's office.
The part-creature blinked. Something's fucked here.....it's too quiet....how long have I been out? he asked himself as he made his way to the main lobby. He walked over to the computer, and tapped a few keys. His eyes widened slightly. This can't be right...it looks like I've been out for a day...
Danny struggled against Irons and Vickers both. Both of them had had their fun with her and she was now hanging in the middle of the office as their 'dead' selves moved. She had kicked them both out of the way and struggled to get her wrists free. No... Not back at the hospital... I have to get out of here....
Irons tightened the thick wire holding her feet to make sure she couldn't kick them again. "You should have behaved."
Jotaru frowned darkly, and opened his dark trenchcoat, checking to see what weapons he'd strapped to himself. In his leg holsters, stocks and triggers facing out, were two sawed-offs, and resting against his hips were two small black sub-machine guns he'd smuggled in from his safehouse...they were special military developments, and of course he'd get in shit over it, but who cares anymore was his reasoning. Finally, he had brought another M92F with him. Sliding his shades on, he closed the coat, and looked around. Shit....the emergency ladder's too far up...I'll have to take...the stairs... Then a slight grin appeared on his face, and he looked at the protruding door jamb. Wait a minute... He grinned broader, and jumped over to it, then jumped straight up as far as he could. His gloved hand locked onto the railing above him, and he pulled himself up. Who needs stairs? He then made his way through the back of the library, and headed for Irons' office.
Sherry roamed the building trying to look for someone who wasn't turning into a monster.
Danny glared at them. She shook her head struggling to get away.
Jotaru came across a pack of zombies as he exited the library, and sighed. /Fuck....even a day out, and this shit happens.../ He walked through them, ignoring the stench of rot and decay...though there was something else...something fresh...something human...nearby..
Sherry turned the corner.
"Sure it's safe letting Berkins' brat run around here?"
"She won't find the office."
One of the things lunged for him, and Jotaru caught it by the face, smirking. "That was a stupid mistake, you fuckugly gravesleeper..." he offered, as he snapped its neck with a simple twist, then let it go, still walking down the hall way, his smirk fading. "That smell...it's not the T-Virus..." Then he froze. Shit...that damned G-Virus...that's what the fuck it is! But...Birkin was a fanatic about lab safety....Umbrella must've tried to get it from him before he wanted to give it...so now, there's an even more lethal pack of freaks...fine by me.... Then he felt something bump against his leg, and he looked down at the small form on the floor below him.
"Don't hurt me." The preteen backed up.
Danny screamed from the office.
"What was that?" Sherry jumped.
Fuck..more kids...more screams...Honestly, you'd think that Fate would give me a break.... He thought, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I think...that was a friend.....Think you can find somewhere less busy to hide?" He jerked his thumb over his shoulder, where the zombies were slowly shuffling towards them.
"Right.." She scrambled back. "Which way's out?"
"On the second floor? Kid, you're lost....you'd have to head back the way came from...unless there's something else I should know about..." Then something caught his eye. "What's that around your neck?" he asked her, leaning down slightly.
She covered the pendant backing up. "What do you mean?"
"Vickers, go check to make sure this level's still clear. I want to make sure."
He looked closer at her, and frowned. "I know you...you're Birkin's kid, aren't you?" As he spoke, Jotaru unholstered one shotgun, and put it over his shoulder. "By the way, you should probably cover your ears..."
"But..." The glare from Irons made him move. Danny lowered her head slightly starting to feel warm again.
Sherry covered her ears cringing.
He pulled the trigger, blowing away the pack of viral creatures with the double-load of buckshot. There was a slight buzz in his ears, but that faded quickly. "Okay, that's taken care of..."
Not again... Have to fight it... I don't want him fucking raping me again... Chris and the others should realize by now what's going on... Maybe they went for help... She thought, yelping when she heard the gun.
Iron's scowled. "If it's Redfield..."
"And... Yeah.. My dad's Dr. Berkins...." She said calmly. "Irons and Vickers brought me here to keep me safe.. But it's been a nightmare...."
Jotaru looked down at the girl. "Those two? I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them....and I can throw them damn far. Well, you can either head back, go into the library, or hang around with me for a while...your call...I have to go kick some ass..." There was a dark grin on his face, and he reloaded the gun before holstering it again.
"I'll wait in the library." She said knowing the room was clear.
He nodded. "Okay...just be careful.." With that, he turned, and continued on his way down the hall, whistling to himself.
"CHRIS! DON'T COME IN HERE! HE'LL KILL YOU!" Danny yelled shutting up when Irons stuffed a bit of her ruined clothing in her mouth. She closed her eyes a moment, the heat starting to get to her.
With a loud bang, the ruined door was smashed open by Jotaru's boot, and he made his way down the small hall before him, heading for the second door, still whistling.
Irons slipped from the main room of his office. Danny worked again to get her wrists free. They've gone mad... I'm amazed they're still not like the others... She gave up. He must have been a sailor... I can't get the knots free...
Jotaru tried the door, and frowned. Locked...well, time to get out MY master key... With a smirk, he smashed his elbow into it, cracking the wood. He hit it again, and again, until his arm smashed through.
Vickers scowled as one of the infected bit him. "God damnit!"
Danny had her back to the door. She cringed slightly still unable to spit out the gag. It looked like she had been used as a punching bag for a while.
"Anbody home?" Jotaru asked, as he ripped the doorknob off from both sides, and smashed in the door. "Oh, long time no see....where's the fatass?"
She closed her eyes a moment then nodded towards the door he had left by. She tugged at her bindings.
Jotaru walked over, and looked at the knots. "Hmm...this is gonna hurt, so try not to bite your tongue off..." With that, he took the cable in his hands, and began pulling and twisting it, slowly snapping it.
She rubbed her wrists once she was free and pulled out the rag. "T...Took you long enough... What kept you?" She asked working on freeing her ankles.
"Sorry, I had to get those bullets out after the wounds closed, then get myself out of a locked weapons depot, and haul all the big guns into a hummer.." He looked down at her. "Well, you certainly aren't like me."
"No I don't know what I am... Other than... They took my badge the same day of the explosion at the CDC... They... Irons told me I'm wanted for it... That was before he decided to rape me..." She managed to get the knots free and attempted to stand. She groaned touching the floor leaving scorch marks.
He eyed her. "I think you should get somewhere safe, kid....you don't look so good.." He moved towards the door Irons had escaped through, and smashed it in with his boot again. "Me, I've got a fat lardass to kill."
"I'm okay..." She got to her feet shakely. "The bastard has to pay for what he did first. Then I'll let you put him out of his misery." She looked at the scorch marks. "Don't let me touch you though. We're not sure if you're fireproof..."
Sighing, he swung his arm back, and hit her in the neck. "Sorry...but I don't think you realize what's at stake here...the entire building is infested...and there's probably a few more of Umbrella's toys in here....I said get somewhere safe, and I meant it." He looked at his trenchcoat. "And so you know, I fireproof all my clothes..it's so I can do incredibly stupid things with fires and bombs.."
Danny gasped, getting caught by his blow. She sank to the ground trying to catch her breath. "...You'll need back up.... Better me than one of the others..." She didn't try to rise though.
He shook his head. "It's better if you get something to use as a weapon first....I don't want to end up having to haul your ass out of another situation...besides, I'm the Black Knight.....might as well play this game, and see how it ends....There are people in here who need help...people still alive...find them, and see what you can do, okay?"
She gave a nod catching her breath completely. "Make him hurt before killing him will you?" She asked. Her wrists had already healed up. The split lip still dribbled a few drops of red blood, but it too was healing up.
He grinned. "Of course I will...I owe him a broken bone for each shot he hit me with, plus a few more for good measure..." Then he disappeared into the hall, the darkness swallowing him up like water.
Danny saw a 'zombie' heading for her from the door and rose slamming her palm into it's chin and up, snapping off it's head. Damn....
Jotaru made his way down the winding hall, frowning. Shit...there's a lot
of animal heads and shit back here... he thought to himself as he pulled
out his handgun, and chambered a round in. Well, might as well see if he's
here....
Buggyelfmaiden: Irons pulled into the shadows. A hunting rifle in his hands.
Sherry pulled into the library and leaned against one of the shelves of books.
"Come on out, fatass! I promise I'll kill you after I play with you a little..." Jotaru's grin was one promising pain and agony. "Otherwise, I'll kill you slowly..."
Irons took a shot at him.
"You're dead... I killed you."
Jotaru grinned as the bulled smacked into his arm. "Confession time, chief....I'm not the same man I used to be..." He removed his shades, the dull lighting from the back rooms reflecting off the silver and being absorbed by the black of his eyes.
Iron's stood out as clear as day in his eyes.
"See, Irons? Oh, and I took care of Wesker....and your Tyrant-y friend, too...so you don't stand much of a chance against me..." Jotaru fired off a shot at the shadows. "So, give up, and die quickly, or be an ass and die slowly.."
He fired at him again.
Danny stumbled into the hall holding herself agaisnt the wall. Time to
get out of here eh? She started for the exit.
zeromutoh: This time Jotaru ducked to the side, and fired off another shot,
this one aimed for Irons' arm. "Fine...have it your way..." he said
quietly.
Sherry jumped as the door opened. "Hello? Anyone in here?" A reddish brown haired man asked stepping into the room.
Irons dropped the gun. "Shit."
Before Jotaru could shoot again, a loud bellowing roar could be heard, so loud that it chilled him down to his very soul. The sound was a terrible one, much more frightening than the silent Tyrant could ever have been. "What...the Hell was that?"
Irons grinned. "Here we were prepping the girl for her mate... Looks like he found us."
"What the Hell do you mean, you stupid fat motherfucker?!" Jotaru blurred forward, his head low and his legs pushing himself off of the ground, his right hand, his empty hand, curving up and grabbing the other man by the neck - an imitation of the Tyrant's own maneouver. He started to shake Irons with both hands. "Tell me, or I'll let those damned zombies get you, you twisted son of a whore!!"
Irons gasped. "Why you think I left the bitch tied up. Birkin said he was sending it here."
"Who are you?" Sherry asked looking at the man. "You're not like the others..."
"No I'm not. You're okay right?" The girl nodded. "Come on, let's get you out of here." Leon caught her arm.
"YOU PIECE OF GARBAGE!!" Jotaru sook him more, then threw him into
a glass case. "You can stay here...alive...so those fuckers can tear you
to pieces...and when they do...I'll be there, watching...and laughing..."
Then, he put his shades back on, and vanished again, leaving the man to himself.
Irons stumbled back to his feet. "They'll kill you too."
"Sorry to tell you...I died back at the mansion...."
Irons looked at his arm. "What the fuck... That little Traitor... She had another version of the damned virus..."
Danny made it to the cafeteria. She tripped on the body of the man she just killed and fell to the floor.
Brad made his way outside planning on leaving Irons to his mess.
Sherry and Leon headed for the door.
There was the sound of a light scream from outside the gate of the station, and a teenaged girl with reddish-brown hair wearing a pink vest, black t-shirt, high-cut pink shorts, and slightly lower cut and thinner black shorts fell against the gate, out of breath. She spotted Brad. "Hey...ah...could you maybe..let me in, officer?" Her voice was trembling slightly, and a lower sound, the keening wail of the zombies, could be heard. "Come on, let me in!"
Brad lookked at her. His eyes showing the same lookk many of the monsters did.
He started moving for the gate.
She blinked. "Uh...you don't look so good..." She said as she thought. Damn pink outfit....thanks a lot for breaking the washing machine, you idiotic frat jerkoffs...
Brad stumbled forward to the gate more.
She looked at him closely, and slowly went for the knife strapped on her shoulder. And me with no gun...someone's laughing at me up there, I just know it... She thought.
He grabbed her arm to pull her closer.
She looked up at him, and saw the look in his eyes. "...crap.." she said to herself as she pulled the knife out as fast as she could. Then she saw the emblem on his vest. Oh no...what if...what if...Chris...oh, God...no..
He pulled her into the gate grabbing her other arm.
She tried to cut at him with the knife, but she couldn't reach close enough. Ohhhhhh, damn.....damn, damn, damn, damn pink outfit...
Vickers moved to bite the girl.
Panting with exertion, an M-1611 in his hands, Carlos was sprinting away from the church. At the last minute, he was told that the others would all separate into groups, try to find the other labs...but it was Chambers that made him go back to the station first. As he climbed over the fence, he cursed his willingness to do whatever a pretty woman asked him. He fell to the ground in a crouch with a thump. When he looked up, he spotted... "Holy...HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" he called out, aiming for Vickers' kneecap.
Vickers turned, not letting her go.
Carlos, shook his head. Well, can't say I didn't warn you, Brad.. He opened fire, and shot out the other man's knees. Stupid bastard....shoulda known this was what would happen to you....
Vickers let her go, but instead of dropping instantly he turned starting for the man.
The girl fell back against the gate, cursing as she hit her ass on it. Carlos opened fire again, this time aiming for Brad's head.
The body dropped at once.
Danny got to her feet again. She leaned against the wall looking at the body. Tears welled up in her eyes. She lowered her head. I don't want anything else to happen......
Carlos walked over to Brad's corpse, and checked it, pulling out a piece of paper, and an odd key. Carlos looked at it, then blinked. "I remember this key...." then he grinned slightly, and looked over at the girl. "So, welcome to Raccoon City, Human Population: 20 Monsters: 10, 000 or so.."
She glared at him. "That's not funny...what's going on here anyway? I..I just got here a little while ago, and...seriously, this is like some kind of fucking acid trip..."
Something twitched and Danny looked over. "Shit! I killed that bastard..." She noticde the head was starting to grow back. "This isn't fucking happening!" She hissed scrambling out the door and into the courtyard.
"Interesting description....another one would be 'stupid horror movie come to life,' but who really cares?" he shrugged, standing and pocketing the two things. "Anyway, this is no place for kids..."
She glared at him again. "I am NOT a kid, you moron..." Carlos grinned, and tugged at the edge of her vest.
"Pink...isn't exactly a mature color...it screams 'little lost girl'..."
"Carlos, you better be alive man." Danny shouted as she dodged the redhead's attack and smashed it's face in with her palm.
Carlos turned, raising his gun. "Who's there?" he called out, on edge again. This is getting old, fast...really fast. Like Road Runner fast..
"Don't shoot." Danny held up her hands.
"Oh, it's you...what the Hell happened to you guys?" he lowered the gun, now getting frustraited. "It's been more than a day since things went to Hell here...where're the guns? Was there anything left at all?" He removed the clip and checked it. "I'm out about twelve rounds, and I have one extra clip...the best we could do..."
"I don't know. I spent the last 24 hours as a playtoy for Irons." She stood weakly. "Jotaru said he stashed them in a hummer... Good luck getting to it though. I couldn't get close to the lower levels..."
"Shit! Why not? Is it that bad down there?" he slapped the clip back into the gun. The new girl was beginning to feel a little lost here, then remembered the stupid joke, and exhaled.
"The halls are crawling with those monsters. Who's the girl?"
Danny wondered if she should tell the man what she had been able to do...
Carlos shrugged. "No clue....but I could see pink before I saw Vickers.." He kicked the dead body once. "Who wears pink? Except for little girls, that is.."
"Probably college boys giving her a hard time. Let me guess they dyed your whites?
She grumbled. "Actually, I blame this on BOTH college boys AND my brother's sense of humor..." she kicked at a loose stone, going a light red.
"Little brother or older?" Danny asked with a grin. "And know the feeling. I was the only girl in my class at school.
"Older...I came here looking for him.." She sighed, and fussed with her ponytai, her greyish-blue eyes blinking. "Of course, I ended up on the set of some horror movie gone wrong..."
Danny nodded. "Well who is he? We might know him."
She blinked again. "Maybe...but I think the chances could be slim....His name is Chris, and he has hair the same color as mine...tall...he's on the STARS Alpha team...like that dead guy..."
"Redfield..." Danny said. "Carlos, you left with him... How is he?"
Carlos sighed. "Well...about three hours ago, we all split up into groups...Chris was one of the ones who decided to try to find a way out of town....and to try to figure out what went wrong...I mean, this isn't the T-Virus...Sue told us that much. And then Becca remembered Jotaru's...rants, I'll call 'em...so, I came back here to see what exactly happened....so, other than Vickers, is there anyone else we should consider dead?"
The girl, who had a hopeful look on her face, cursed and kicked Brad herself. "Great...I went through ALL THIS FOR NOTHING!"
"Irons. Jotaru freed me and went after him. I haven't checked the rest of the building though."
"We're here." Leon said as he and Sherry came into view.
There was an explosion above, and a thump sound, followed by a sudden object spinning through the air, and smashing into the ground. Carlos jumped back, and cursed in Spanish. Claire picked it up carefully, and held it up. "Ah...I think this used to be a shotgun...."
Danny looked up. "Hm... Guys, maybe we should get out of here."
Sherry looked up. "Maybe it was the company Dad works for sending someone for me."
Claire looked at the ruined weapon. "It's hard to make out, but I think it was a standard-issue police shotgun.." She put it down carefully, and brushed her hair away from her eyes. "Well, whatever it is, someone has to go check it out...."
"STARSssssss...." A voice said from the shadows.
Jotaru's eyes shifted around. There was something in there with him.... He reached for his shotguns, and checked the two of them. He slowly made his way back into the hallway outside the office, and noted sourly that the zombies had managed to make their way in thanks to his breaking down the ruined doors he had found.
Something pounded up the stairs hissing.
He made his way back to the nearest stairwell, killing anything that came near him with his feet and the stocks of his guns. Well, most people only get to die once...and I'm probably the only one who can say been there, done that...
A fist went through the wall aimed at Jotaru.
He smashed through the next one, plaster and wood falling all around him, making him cough. He still had his guns, only he was begining to crack them with his grip. He looked up, and fired at whatever had hit him with both guns, the sound louder than thunder.
The figure stepped back slightly.
Danny looked up. "Something's in there.... You guys look for more survivors... I'm going to go help Jotaru."
He ejected the spent shells, and kicked one of them as hard as he could, sending it flying at the thing as fast as the bullets had fired.
The creature moved for him again. "STARSSSS."
He holstered the empty guns, and pushed himself back along the floor, sliding back the entire distance and crashing through another door. He stopped when he hit the railing behind him. Looking down, he saw that he had somehow ended up back in the lobby, but on the other side. Damn, this place is confusing...I must've gotten lost for a moment, and went the wrong way... He pulled out the SMGS, and loaded them with the fifty-round clips. "Come get some..." he grinned, his glasses skewed on his face.
Danny entered the lobby below him on the other side.
The creature charged yelling again.
The girl blinked. "Okay, this sounds crazy but....she doesn't have any weapons..." she said to the others as a loud noise echoed from inside.
"You noticed that too eh?" Leon asked watching Danny leave.
Jotaru opened fire, finally getting a glimpse of the thing. Damn....is that what I could end up looking like? A part of his mind said as he stood up, and looked down. When he weighed his options, he did something really stupid....
Danny heard the noise upstairs and bit her lip. If he was right... She shuddered.
He jumped forward, and grabbed the thing around the neck, using his momentum to spin it around and push it forwards. Then he blurred forward, and rammed into it's leather-bound chest, cracking the railing and sending them both flying.
Carlos frowned. "So what should we do? We can't just let her get killed, or anything, you know?"
Danny jumped back as they landed on the ground near her. She stayed in a low crouch for a moment. "What the fuck is that thing?"
Jotaru let out a small sound as he lay beneath it. "You don't wanna know..."
"I bet... You okay? Because we're going to need some help getting to those guns."
He looked up at her, his shades broken. "I'd love to...but I'm a bit busy here....unless you think you could roll this bugger off of me?" He managed to get one arm free.
She nodded, her eyes going gold a moment. She shoved the thing off him and moved to help him up.
"Man....ugly fucker got me by suprise..." He rubbed his jaw as he rolled it over with his boot, and got a good look at its face. "I thought so..."
"What is it?" She asked.
He pointed with his boot at the small white eyes, the blad head, and the lipless mouth. Despite the obvious decay, the clothing, and the surgical staples in its face... "I'd say it's a Tyrant.."
"What did they do to him..." She knelt lookking at him almost feeling sorry for the creature.
It grabbed her arms coming back alive. "Fuck!"
Jotaru grabbed it by the head, and spun himself around. "It's Deja Vu all over again.." he muttered as he bent it over backwards, locking it in place as he did with the Tyrant....only this time, it was a lot harder to do. "Let go, you stupid fucker!" he screamed, trying to get both of his feet on the ground, instead of the one.
The 'tyrant' stood after batting him away. "Smellsss diferent...."
Jotaru smashed into the wall hard with a dull crack, his head slumped over oddly...
"Let go..." She squirmed as it pulled her closer to smell her.
"STARSS first... then you....." It pulled her along with it as it headed for the door.
Jotaru's neck creaked, and it slowly began cracking as it snapped back into place.
Danny hissed touching it with her hands. It threw her to the side as the leather showed burning.
"Ow.." Jotaru said as he stood up, and cracked his neck. "Okay, that can't kill me.." he said, grinning.
Danny crashed into him.
The creature turned towards them.
Jotaru cursed. "Stupid...monsters...." he said with a dazed voice.
She groaned. "Thanks for the catch... You stop groping me though." She asked
"Why would I do that?" he snicked, pushing her aside. "Okay, this thing is stronger than the old Tyrant.."
She groaned since he had shoved her into the wall... "Jerk... I"m still alive okay..."
The creature charged at them.
Jotaru, taking a deep breath, charged forward and slammed into it with his shoulder, knocking it back. "FALL, YOU STUPID...!"
Danny shook her head. "Hit it with... Shit... Bet no one has a fucking lighter... Damn US going to Smoke free..." She jumped at it hoping to burn it again.
Jotaru rammed it again, and again, until he stepped back, panting. "Okay, need a new plan."
It threw them both out of the way and headed for the door.
Jotaru groaned. "Stupid..." Then he passed out.
Danny groaned as she hit the ground. "Ow...."
