RACCOON PD

Chris led the larger group along another hall, sticking to the back halls. "Whatever you do, don't let anyone we think is involved in this see us....we'd just end up in a bigger mess..."

"Hopefully." She rummaged a bit and found a pair of jeans and a cropped tee that fit. She found a pair of combat boots in her size and grinned. "At least they had taste." She said making sure Jotaru wasn't watching. She slid the clips into her pockets and the gun into the back of her pants. "Ready?"

Leon nodded as he set Sue down. "Stay close okay?"

Jotaru checked his sawed-off again, and sighed. "Shit....this one's ruined..." He snapped open the breech, the smell of burning metal wafting up from it. "That bastard Tyrant must've had something corrosive to metal in its blood..."

"So guess the titanium in the vests might be a bit dangerous... You happen to have the ceramic vests?" She asked rolling her neck slightly.

"I think so....though I won't be needing one...." He tossed the ruined weapon aside, and checked his knife over. "Hnn...this one's still good...must be that polymer stuff they mixed in with the blade...Good thing I have an army's worth of guns and ammo down there, huh?"

She nodded. "I'm not sure if whatever my brother put in me will heal me from wounds or not. Havent' really had the time to test it, and to tell the truth... I sorta don' wanna fin' out." She grimmaced as her accent thickend. "Sorry... Only happens when I'm nervous."

"Happenes all the time with the guys back in my old unit....Hell, even some of my...current 'associates....have the same problem..." He opened the door, and motioned for her to follow him.

She stepped into the hall and crashed into a weasel looking man.

Jotaru stepped on the fallen man's hand. "Well, well, well...looking for someone?" he said, smiling darkly.

"She's not a new recruit.. Why you showing her around?" He asked looking at the blond.

Danny bit back the comment she was going to say and hid her fists behind her.

"Well Brad...I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you." His tone was anything but joking. "We know about what you and Irons have been up to, you panty-waist..."

Vickers looked at him. "So the brat told. I should have offed her instead."

"The little girl?" Danny glanced to Jotaru for a moment. She then looked back at 'Brad'. "You harm a hair on that child's head, and you'll have to deal with me." The gun was to his head in an instant. "Now... Out of our way, we have to go deal with YOUR fuck up okay?" She growled.

Vickers looked at the gun then at her. "You know aiming a gun at a Cop's a federal offence."

"Not if the cop's crooked and you're a cop." She said with a smug grin.

"Oogami, is this the pilot that captian Jinn said left you and the others behind?" She asked looking up at him.

Vickers took the moment she had taken her eyes off him and grabbed the gun twisting her arm behind her. Danny scowled kicking down at his foot making him yelp. She threw him to the floor easily. "Don't fuck with me. I've had a really bad day and it's getting worse by the moment." She growled aiming the gun at him.

Jotaru rolled his eyes. "He's not worth the bullet.." That being said, he grabbed Vickers by his orange vest with one hand. "Hey, Brad...time for your trip..." he grinned up at him.

"Like I was going to shoot him. I'm not the Judge and Jurry." She commented glad that he had taken the man. "So, where we gonna leave him?" She asked pulling out cuffs from where she had hidden them in her pocket.

Vickers looked at them both and tried to get out of Jotaru's grip.

"I was thinking of sticking him in the morgue, and breaking the door so he couldn't get out...." Jotaru smiled.

Danny shivered. "You're evil..." She nodded.

"Bastard... Let go of me... Anything happens to me and Irons will have your badge."

"Of course I'm evil...thanks to him and Irons, I got to experience being a GODDAMNED ZOMBIE!!" He began shaking Brad visciously.

"Is the morgue full at the moment?" Danny asked. "Because, you know... Letting him feel what it's like to be dead a while might be fun too. This guy keeps looking at me like I'm some treat." She punched Vickers in the stomach and he doubled over. She grabbed his hair. "You know what pilot... I don't like men like you."

"You wouldn't.." Vickers managed to cough.

Jotaru sighed. "As much as I'd like to...we are STILL in a police station.....so, no killing him.."

"I wasn't meaning kill him. We'll just stall him in one of the lockers."

"Oh...that....sure....no complaints here."

He tried to get free until she jammed the gun in his face again. "Lead the way then boss."

Jotaru led them to the locker rooms. "This should do nicely...." he commented, opening one of them. "He'd fit...a little snugly, but still...he wouldn't die from suffocation either.."

She nodded cuffing his wrists to the locker. "There... Have fun." She gave Vickers a kiss on the cheek. "Hope you get a nice nap."

"Wha..." He fell limp as she hit him in the back of the head with the gun.

"Yuck... I need mouthwash now."

Jotaru snorted. "At least you don't have the smell of rotting meat in your nostrils..."

She paled at the thought, her stomach churning. "Please... no mention of that... Back at the hospital I had to deal with the cook..." She grimaced. "Apparently before they changed he was preparing lunch."

"Bleah...okay, that's just plain sick...let's just get downstairs, okay?"

She nodded closing the door, leaving the keys within reach.

"Ready when you are. Sleeping beasty wont wake for a bit."

Danny hefted the bag they had filled with ammo onto her shoulder and moved to get the other bag with the weapons. "Damn... Forgot how heavy this stuff is..." She grumbled freezing as she heard the door at the end of the room open.

Jotaru looked up, and saw... "Well, if it isn't the sellout now..." he remarked as Irons walked in, his gun aimed at them. "What now? Come to finish us off for your masters, Irons? Is the pay worth it?"

"It is...but, you'll never live long enough to tell anyone..." he smirked, and raised the gun to Jotaru's chest. "Say goodnight, rookie." With that, he fired again and again. Jotaru fell back with a loud thump, dead. "Well, that was rather anti-climactic, wouldn't you say my dear?"

Danny dropped the two bags moving to grab the eagle. "Stay back." she growled holding it up in both hands.

Irons smirked broader. "I think not....you can either give up, or...well, I'll shoot..."

She shighed remembering what Alanyia had said he had done. She lowered the gun, Anger still in her eyes.

Irons nodded. "Very good. I can see you're a smart one, aren't you? You'd make a wonderful addition to my trophy room.."

She said nothing, glancing to Jotaru. /He better wake up soon.../ She thought. "Guess you found the bastard we left in the lockerroom?"

"Actually, I spotted the two of you as you came down here..." He held up a fuse. "I've been doing a little... 'repair work', you might say..."

She relaxed not sure if the fuse would trigger a bomb or not. "So going to kill us and everyon in this city?" She asked careful to keep her accent under control.

"No...just those who would ruin all that I have strived for..."

She stayed back kneeling to check in Jotaru.

Irons moved closer, and grabbed her by the arm. "No sense bothering with the dead, my dear..."

She turned to slug him. "Ah ain't no weakling."

The stocky man glared, and pressed his gun against her forehead. "I won't hesitate to shoot you.."

She stopped. Damnit... Have to play along and hope he doesn't do anything... She thought as she closed her eyes relaxing her stance.

"Now, my dear, I think we should take this little chat elsewhere, yes?" Irons waved the gun at her.

She stood walking out the door. "Fine." She didn't look at him.

As he followed her, the chief slapped a pair of cuffs on her. "For safety reason, and all that..."

"Bastard." She growled. She was ushered into his office and she worked to get the cuffs off.

"Please, have a seat, won't you? Or would you prefer the floor?" There was a soft snicker in the man's voice.

She glared at him. "I would rather stand." She growled

"I would prefer otherwise, unless you'd like to get more acquainted with my gun here...hmm?"

Shhe looked at the gun and took the offered seat giving up on the cuffs. "Let me guess... Hard for a date? Should try the fucking morgue... Probably more your type." She retorted.

Irons frowned at her. "I don't much appreciate your sense of humor..." he said sourly as he stood next to her, gun still trained for her head.

"I don't apreciate the hospitality I've gotten since getting here. Dealing with Zombies, lizards... then finding out this Swamp rat was brought here in a crate like some prize package..."

"Ah, but you are. You ceased being a normal human being sometime ago. You don't even have any more rights..."

"Until proven by a doctor I'm still human, and a citizen of the US. And as a Cop I know my rights." She shifted trying to calculate her movement to kick him and get the gun off her.

"Well, I've got that much proof right here...straight from the horse's mouth...or in this case....your brother's..." There was a sick grin on his face. "He knew this would happen, you know..."

"Marcus..." She glared at him. "Bastard, he was trying to save lives." She kicked out at him hoping to make him move the gun.

Irons pressed the gun against her forehead. "That may be the case, but...he was an Umbrella employee...how else could he have gotten a sample of the T-Virus? Hmmm? I'm waiting for your response.."

"He worked in the CDC... They had to give some of the virus over asshole."

"That is a load of shit, and you know it! That virus was so contagious, it CAN'T be studied unless in an Umbrella lab! Anywhere else, and it would spread like that little plague down in Atlanta...oh yes, I know all about that little incident, Miss. Draven...Did I mention that you've been stripped of your badge?"

She looked at him. No... I couldn't have been. Eriks wouldn't have... She struggled with the cuffs again. "Bullshit. Eriks wouldn't do that."

"Oh, yes...it's amazing what Umbrella can do by..pressuring...the right people. In fact, you're the one being blamed for the CDC incident...as some kind of retaliation for the death of your brother..."

She was able to wiggle one wrist free and swung at him. "Bullshit."

He moved back, clicking his tongue. "Here, see for yourself.." He moved back to his desk, and tossed some papers to her.

She caught them and her dand trembled when she read it. She fell mack into the chair. "No..."

"As I said....you're finished...a wanted fugitive...and guess what? The STARS are the next up on the list...we've even got the cover story...drug use and negligence..."

This isn't right... Brother... Eriks.... She trembled.

"The only question is...should I return you to Umbrella? Or perhaps William could use a new test subject...so many possibilities, and more money for me..."

The door... I can make it and get out of here... That church the others were going to isn't that far.. She thought fighting breaking down.

"Thinking about escape, are you? Well, too bad!" He smacked her across the face. "You belong to us now...and you'd damned well better get used to it!"

She turned when he hit her. "Do that again and I'll kill you... May as well make it a legal reason to be wanted."

He kept his gun on her, and brought out some length of coaxial cable. "Well, time to secure you..."

She tried to get up to fight back.

Irons wrapped the cable around her hands and arms, grinning. "I brought this when I heard about the lab escapees..."

She squirmed. Damnit... he knows what he's doing...

"Now, will you cooperate with us?" he asked, grinning madly at her.

"I'd rather die then help you." She hissed.

He laughed, then brought out another length and tied her feet and legs. "Well, then I'll just take you to William.."

She struggled. Damnit I don't know how long it takes for him to heal..."Why do this... You could let me go... I mean how much trouble could I be?"

"Enough to ruin my standing with Umbrella....enough to make me lose quite a bit of money...enough that I'd kill in my own police department..."

"Bastard... You know you won't make it out of the city alive." She hissed as the cord bit into her arms.

"Probably not....but I'll take the WHOLE damn city with me if I don't!" He cackled, and stepped on her back as he threw her to the floor.

She yelped as she crashed to the floor. She turned her face so as to not have it ground into the carpet. "Better hope I don't get free." She growled.

Snorting, Irons prodded her with his boot. "From that cable? Unlikely...it's of the heavy-duty variety..." He stepped on her rear.

She gritte her teeth. "What are you going to do with me then..."

"Like I said, take you to William..." He rolled her over with his boot, and stepped on her left breast. "But, maybe I'll have some...enjoyment...with you first...."

She gave a sharp cry as he stepped on her. Tears filled her eyes. She tried to get her legs free in order to kick him away from her.

Laughing, Irons reached down, and placed his hands on her breasts. "We have plenty of time to get to know each other more, don't we?" He eyed her, and smirked evilly.

She shoved him off her and scooted back, painfully, against the wall pulling her knees up to her chest. "As I said... Try the fucking morgue... I won't let you play with me."

Danny gasped as he pulled her back to him and placed the gun in her mouth.

"You'll behave or else." He ordered cocking the gun to prove his point. She closed her eyes choking on a sob as he freed her enough to get to her.
