Himora Kenshin's real name is Himora Shinta or Shinta Himora. He and many slaves / slave traders where attacked by bandits. None survived except Shinta but just barely for the master swordsman Seijuro Hiko happened to be walking along the road and vanquished the bandits right before they got to kill Shinta. Hiko left Shinta by himself. Shinta barried all the slave traders, slave, even bandits. Hiko saw this and took him in as his pupil in the process gave him the name Kenshin because Shinta was a much too soft name for a swordsman. Kenshin left his mountain one day from training and helped out the innocents that where suffering. While in the process Katsura hired him as an assassin while talking to his friend that was the leader of the Kei-hetia. After a while Kenshin was called the Hitokiri Battousia (and something else but honestly I forgot). One day Kenshin dissapered and vowed never to kill again. He replaced his sword with a reverse blade sword (yet again it has a name but I forgot that too and there is no way I can find out anymore). Kenshin met many friends and many enemies some from the past like Saito, Shishio and more.
