Hayden Christensen as Cloud Strife
Hayden is one of the best choices for cloud strife, his role as Anakin wasn't impressive but I think he would be better off as Cloud.
Natalie Portman as Aeris Gainsborough
Natalie Portman again as Hayden's leading lady, how typical, but the fact is she looks most like her, acts most like her and has had heroine practice^_^! Last of Padme's moments were tragic and sad like Aeris.
Jennifer Love Hewwitt as Tifa Lockheart
Jennifer is the best looker for Tifa and she can kick a lot of ass! She did so as Jackie Chan's sidekick in The Tuxedo. Well she also has sense of nudity and looking pretty sexy! And when it comes to boys she is most like Tifa even as herself.
Shiina Hekiru as Yuffie Kisaragi
She could do Yuffie excellently! She looks like her and she is popstar material (since popstars are annoying)and she basically would have talent to be a good ninja!
Ice Cube as Barret Wallace
Even better suggested, Mr. T may have what it takes looks wise to be Barret but the attitude ain't there. Ice Cube has both looks, voice and tude to be Barret. I think I deserve an A+ for mentioning and thinking about him for this character.
Jhonny Depp as Vincent Valentine
Jhonny Depp when I looked at him twice and looked at his roles I found that he would make a much better Vincent Valentine. Keanu Reeves has seriousity but just not the full on looks like Jhonny. I think Jhonny is plenty capable of a rather neutral, violent and emotionless role.
Harrison Ford as Cid Highwind
Harrison is the only good choice other than Bruce for Cid (since I wrote a KH movie site at Geocities), Harrison has always had dealings with air locomotives and got grumpy when they didn't work his way. So this is Cid, yes he's definately Cid!
Greg Proops as Caitsith's voice
He would make the best voice for Caitsith since they are nothing more than robots and plushies. Caitsith is more like Jar Jar done right and a better comic relief than any other failure ones.
Frank Langella as RedXIII's(Nanaki)voice
Frank would be the ultimate choice for Red since he displayed Archer's voice in Small Soldiers. He could do his emotional moments and everything around it so that his voice would be what we thought it would be.
Rufus Sewell as Sephiroth
The reason he's the new final decision is looks first (compare with AC Sephiroth) next he has played plenty of evil roles so perfect!

Jodelle as Marlene Wallace
Jodelle is cute and she would be perfect for Marlene. EEEE can't help myself she's so adorable^_^!!! Anyways she would do best for Marlene since she has a little girls touch.
Joaquin Pheonix as Dyne
Similarities here and a perfect matchup for the role.
Ralph Moeller as Dio
Looks like the guy, acts like the guy. What the heck he'll be the guy!!!
Eric Idle as Bugenhagen

Wade Giles as Lord Godo
Wade was in Kill Bill as everyone's typical martial arts master, he has what it takes to be Godo. When Pat died, Kill Bill struck my mind leading me to this guy!
Susan Sarandon as Elmyra
Though many are disgusted by her comment on our american troops in Iraq. She still fits as Aeris foster mother being she played Padme's mother in Episode 2.
Keira Knightley as Jessie
Well Jessie is the intelligent girl who often makes a right desicion and move. Keira did the same in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Kieran Culkin as Biggs
Biggs is the guy who takes orders from Barret to take out soldier and shinra. He is assisted by Wedge, Kieran had the similar experience in saved with Mandy Moore.
Sean Astin as Wedge
He is light spirited and like Samwise Gamgee, he is very responsible for a quest.
Micheal Crawford as Professor Gast
Well Gast is the only guy Sephiroth will say anything good about (cant blame him). This is Aeris father and in reality Micheal would make a good father to her.
Rachael Weisz as Ifalna
I'm agreeing with Red Scorpion here since rachael is beautiful and had displayed that potential of playing Infalna. She gets short parts and will have to play dead as part of Aeris memory, no problem actors rule at that!
Simon Rex as Zack
Simon looks like this Zack and has personality to be him.

She was only recognized in one film known as The Foreigner. Sorry about the Madonna decision but I resaw this. She was also recognized as Osiris in the sci fi channel show Star Gate SG-1. She is evil enough to want to take over earth. Jenova and her are a clash!

Anthony Hopkins as President Shinra
Anthony resembles a real like President Shinra so he's good to go.
Christopher Walken as Professor Hojo
revelently the true father of Sephiroth though evil to give him to Jenova later on and that explains Sephiroth's white hair! Christopher is ugly enough to be this wicked dude.
Kate Beckinsale as Lucrecia
Well there had to be some reason Vincent was upset. Kate would do well for this role. She is also revealed the true mother of Sephiroth.

Matt Damon as Rufus Shinra
Matt Damon has this cocky thing from a distance glance and most definately looks like Rufus.

good job, they look alike!

well they look a lot alike and act alike so this is a good match.

Since Rodney is another dead guy I agree again with Red Scorpion! Jack was crazy even as Joker in the first produced Batman live action film. He like Don is also a big perv so this fits!
Tim Curry as Reeve
Tim Curry looked more like Reeve than Jeff Goldblum did (to correct you purplepuff I think the "You have no idea how long this took me!" girl was right) since Reeve has the evil looking personality at a distance.

David Gallagher as Cloud Strife(young)
Even as Riku he is the only option for a younger Cloud Strife. Had hell finding an actor to play Cloud in KH other than constant Hayden. In this role, Cloud is a member of Soldier in this story not carrying his trademark buster sword but a cannon shot gun. Expressing the early days of Shinra like the Hellsing Institute ran by Integra Hellsing. Mainly their mission is to wipe out terrorist organizations that hide to plot out a massive attack. Cloud only cares about status, gill, and life with Tifa as it is his only life. Zack's relationship with great warrior Sephiroth's half-sister Aeris was little of his concern at the moment; their breakup didn't sway him a bit. Zack's and Sephiroth's mysterious death trembled him a bit being they were buddies and comrades.
Lance Bass as Sephiroth(real)
In the younger days of Shinra, Sephiroth was just a really strong warrior who led armies to victory. Son of Lucrecia instead of Jenova and Gast. Vincent took a blood sample of him at a young age and let forth the project of cloning. The clone Sephiroth was let quieted and trained in secret till the fall of this great warrior. He was revealed in FF7 as Aeris half-brother through Gast. His death as was Zack's was a true mystery as the story works up to the five years of The Dark Wars when the Cetra were eliminated, the Wutai were huddling for survival, and all the world erupted in chaos. Shinra's arrogance was just business as Soldier believed only what Jenova said. Sephiroth's death left Lucrecia devastated and depressed over her remaining lifetime. Lance Bass plays the role of the well nature intended warrior before all of the mishap. The rest of the characters will be played by first-time film experience actors. Anna Paquin will be Aeris.
Gerard Butler as Vincent Valentine(after)
As he is known in Phantom of the Opera, Dracula 2000 and popular Tomb Raider Cradle of Life he takes the role of a dark neutral gunslinger named Vincent Valentine. This takes place after the chaos in AC continuing the story in Vincent's view. No knowing what the story line or plot is but we know years after his time humanity still lives. Yes Mr. Proops remains Cait's voice but he has to adapt to a small social atmosphere being all their original comrades were killed off in AC. Nanaki is taking a major vacation from this.

Jared Padalecki as Squall Leonhart
He looks like Squall and acts like him too. This will go well.
Song Hye Kyo as Rinoa Heartilly
Well, Rinoa is an asian looking girl and has a personality that says he doesn't know who to be with. She has no relation to her parents whatsoever. She just wanted a guy to be a guardian to her. Squall ended up the kind of man. Song will do well as a Rinoa.
Alicia Witt as Quistis Treppe
Alicia is most known in that 70's show as a girl without knowledge of who to love. She likes Squall mostly and thinks they can work out a relationship together. Same as Alicia's character in That 70's Show.
Alyson Hannigan as Selphie Tilmitt
She is not the most intelligent thing on earth but she has her personality and ways. She is more annoying in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and in American Pie. Perfect!
Ashley Parker Angel as Zell Dincht
A bit of a pansy plus a bit of a chicken wuss as he is boyband material. Zell is a karate man but with a backfire of boyband style.
James Marsters as Seifer Almasy
He is a bit of a hard head and has unthinkable dreams. James is a brute meets Seifer who is Squall's rival and Spike does rival Angel.
Sean William Scott as Irvine Kinneas
He does work since he has the thing for the girls and being mr. lover. Plus he is a single shot, with sarcasm like the object is a cute and helpless kitten.
Elizabeth Hurley as Edea
Well she was in Austin Powers with a bit of the boob-gun action. She has a seriousity side along with some hoochy mama mind when not herself.
Kevin Klien as Cid Kramer
Well in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets he was Gilderoy Lockhart the pretty boy. Being he only took credit for the Defense against the Dark arts book and really knows nothing, this works.
Shiri Appleby as Shizuka
Well she is called the pony tailed girl in the library but this is her real name. Shiri does work for this part.
Marla Sokoloff as Xu
She's cute and she works!
Josh Harnett as Nida
Well purplepuff, Jared can't exactly play both parts. So let Josh play one. There!
Adam Busch as Zone
Don't know the guy just decided by agreement.
Claire Danes as Fujin
She looks like the Fujin type and looks like her literally. She will have lines of single words loudly!
Dwayne as Raijin
Purplepuff did better than me on this one. She actually looked at him, I just thought of Scott from Underworld.
Michelle Yeoh as Julia Heartilly
Since Rinoa is Asian looking, she might as well have an asian mother. Plus Michelle does seem like the paino lady singer type.
George Clooney as General Caraway
Hehe, I chose him in a General outfit! Perfect choice! This works!
Keanu Reeves as Laguna Loire
Keanu has played characters with rather awkward start and some with a known hunt. Him being Neo makes perfect for Laguna's first moments to his son as a Galbadian soldier! His later years matches everything Keanu has experienced through his characters as an actor. Keanu and Laguna are a virtual actor-character matchup!
Jill Henesy as Raine Loire
She was from A Beautiful Mind, as a mother and a pretty natured girl. Well chosen.
Rachael Leigh Cook as Ellone
purplepuff came out with this and it works!
Steve Austin as Ward Zabac
Well Steve came to mind the first thing since Ward is white and rather bulky along with tall. Stone cold is the same way. good work intellects!
Mario Van Pebbles as Kiros Seagull

Natasha Lyonne as Sorceress Adel
Natasha is an official choice for Adel after her roles from some of her movies and her latest villianous act in Blade Trinity.
Miranda Richardson as Ultemecia
She is creepy enough and magical enough. She created Merlin in the story of Merlin. She is perfect for Ultemecia.
Kristen Kruek as Yuna
Kristen lives in the shadows of her lost parents as Lana in Smallville. She looks like Yuna and has the same characteristics and background story.
Will Friedle as Tidus
Will was my last resort choice on Tidus since he also fits the wanker character and every personality to go with Tidus. He can play ball or battle with a sword plus he can manage a higher voice.
Scott Caan as Wakka
Scott not only has Wakka hair but has Wakka looks too. Hey he ain't so bad, this is the best idea put.
Jessica Biel as Lulu
There was always something about Mary and now there is something about Lulu. Jessica had a bit of a rough personality on her role as does Lulu. Her relationship with men seems to suck because her proper man in any story is either long gone or wrecked. Having to warm up to Wakka wasn't easy but he was all of her original lover that she had left.
Larisa Oleynik as Rikku
Well, Hillary Duff is too old to play the part. Larisa has the face and age to play this cute little girl. Excellent choice!
Jeff Goldblum as Auron
Jeff instantly captured my eye when looking closely at Auron. They look, exactly alike and would do well as one person.
Robert Baroni as Kimahri
Many spell his last name wrong but it's ok. He would work excellently as Kimahri Ronso's voice.
Steven Seagal as Braska
Steven Seagal jumped on my mind the moment I saw a picture of Braska. Steven has been noticed in many action movies, especially the Superstation.
Leonardo DeCaprio as Seymour Gaudo
Leo looks like the guy for the job of playing any blue haired villian. He qualifies for Legato from Trigun as well.
Brian Blessed as Yevon
I thought of this guy cause he had the features to be like this guy and the mind of a crusader. His role in Tarzan (Disney animated) as Clayton was a overall marking to his Yevon side and a Boss Nass to go along.
Chester Bennington as Rikku's Brother
agreed on this, Chester has the thing of brother going on. He is also fit for FFX-2 brother.
Gabrielle Union as Dona
I just agreed with this but she actually look like the girl.
Cary Elwes as Jeckt
Cary started out long ago on Princess Bride to where he made his major fame! He carried on through other films without noise of him in public till CutThroat Island [a mid famous pirate film]. He appeared to have more a senile character as well possibly in some other films where he plays a drunken man. He has the looks and now the character to play the famous father of Tidus, Jeckt.
Beverley Mitchell as Tidus' Mother
This took me forever to get but I finally gave in to Beverley. Yuna describes Tidus' mom as beautiful so I had to find someone cute. She came across my mind on final descision moment.
Haley Joel Osment as Mysterious Fayth Boy
He is a rather mysterious kid but he is also small voiced. Like the faceless mage of FF9 and Sora, he has a personality of being rather hidden.
Heath Ledger as Lulu's Love
As said, Wakka told Tidus how he looked like his brother so this guy could look closest to being Wakka's brother. He died in a crusade years ago leaving Lulu his true love behind.

Milla Jovovich as Paine
When it came to Paine's silent and deadly personality I thought of Milla in Resident Evil. Milla was also in Ultraviolet as the kick ass new breed vamp chick with more of her deadly and cold side. Perfect match up I say!
Bridgette Wilson as Leblanc
I agreed with purplepuff here, Bridgette from MK movie one back in 1995 is definately Leblanc material. She was once Sonya Blade with a viscious attitude, now Leblanc with a peevy attitude and rivalry over mind.
George Stults as Baralai
I thought of him because the way their eyes are and what they are. That's all :D!
David Copperfield as Gippel
He was the last thing across my head finding an actor for Gippel who is a pain in the neck. He acts serious here and there but gets to be a barker.
Tom Cruise as Nooj
Tom Cruise popped up in my head in an instant looking at Nooj closely. I say this is the best matching for an actor meets character.
Bernie Mack as Uno
Bernie is like Homer Simpson in a way but he also has to carry out orders when told. Now he has to act real serious being Uno. Remember Leblanc isn't playing around, she's freakin serious!!!
Ken Watanabe as Sano
He was a major Samurai part in the Last Samurai and is a major gun part in FFX-2. He has the eye slant like Sano which makes me say yes to this.
Chyler Leigh as Lenne
I didn't know but her face reminded me of Lenne or at least looked like it the most. Though purplepuff begs to differ.
Eric Von Detten as Shuyin
Shuyin is really a lot like Tidus but some distinct difference makes us think twice. Eric is also a pretty boy for the girls as Shuyin is for gaming girls. Both have their heads on their pretty boyness and the pleasures of publicity.
Carisma Carpenter as Ashe
She was Cordelia from Buffy to Angel but this picture made me think of Ashe a lot. Not very wise in clothes (nor is Carisma) that make them match perfectly.
Shane West as Vaan
In "A Walk To Remember" he was a butt headed jock who cared only for popularity in public but in person he's nice. Vaan's dislike for polotics is similar, since Ashe is a Princess and he's a regular boy.
Brandy as Fran
She looks like the character and probably has the similar character.
Mario Ventimiglia as Balfrea
He looks like the guy and has a possible matching characteristic.
Hilary Duff as Penelo
Penelo highly respects her morals and sets a bondary of standards for herself. The same goes for Hilary who is well spoken of by her co-workers. The two make a good actor/character relation!
Paul Walker as Basch
Paul known for the fast and the furious adrenaline super turbo street racing film played a cop half a racer. Like Brian's treachery to the cop force by joining with street racers and not turning Dominic in for criminal record is what Basch had commited to standardly when being a knight but joining a bad faith and betraying his kingdom. He slew the king of Dalmasca making the attitude of Basch and Paul one person, unknown intentions is the same as Brian.
Vincent Kartheiser as Larsa
Vincent played as a son of Angel known to be Connor who was born of two vampires. The factoid of Larsa is a little different but he was born of pure royalty as Connor was born of pure blood sucker. Larsa's attitude toward his father might be a little boil like Connor towards his father Angel. Overall like the last two he looks like Larsa and so he fits!
Adrian Paul as Vayne
Vayne is born of royalty and raised powerful being far from arrogant which is similar to Duncan born of a clan and made a powerful highlander without any ego he's the best. Adrian and Vayne work well together having the same family likeness character to character.
Sean Connery as Emperor
He and Adrian have been together in highlander, this is more a reunion only now they play as character family. He rules as a fair emperor while waging war against an evil and lude empire wishing to dominate and dictate.
For the rest,it's J.T.T. as Zidane (quite well chosen). For FF6 it's, Christopher Bale as Butz (see that one well), Leelee Sobeski as Celes Chere (the next best thing for a Joan of Arc!), Anna Paquin as Terra Branford (typical for a mysterious girl), Marylin Manson as Kefka (freak and clown like he's got the knife and personage for a bad guy), Brian Thompson as The Emperor(from MK movie sequel, another evil empire for him to rule! Mwahahaha!). For others we have Mike Myers as Captain Steiner (another idiot role but with dignity on his behalf), Haley Joel Osment as Vivi (a little guy for a little role), girl we have playing Ellone also for Princess Garnett (even more a reason to save her), guy who played Frodo in LOTR trilogy as the Hume guy, 
Orlando Bloom as the Elvaan guy, Jennifer Garner as the Elvaan girl and thats most all.
