Vegetto's bio Vegetto is the product of the fusion (Potara earrings) between Vegeta and Goku. He is first introduced into Dragonballz during the Buu saga. Similarly to Gotenks,Vegetto is very overconfident which can sometimes be a weakness during combat. He also follows a few of Vegetas traits(i.e verbally abusing enemies).During the Buu saga this fusion was intended to be permanent, but when Vegetto entered Kid Buu Vegeta and Goku were able to defuse.In this fusion form Vegeta is dominant.

The Story Gohan,Piccolo and Gotenks have all been absorbed by Buu.Goku's intended fusion between him and Gohan is now impossible. It looks like there is no hope for planet Earth(or Goku),when Vegeta returns from the afterlife to join forces with Goku and defeat buu. However Vegeta and Goku are still no match for Buu. There only hope of destroying Buu, and ridding the world of this great evil is to use the legendary Potara earrings.Vegeta is reluctant but agrees and he and Goku put one earring on.The fusion begins..and a warrior strong enough to defeat Buu is made.His name is Vegetto....

Potara Earrings ?

This process results in a permanent fusion. To achieve this fusion, two fighters must wear a Kaioshin’s earrings. These are the Potera Earrings. The fighters must each wear one earring in opposite ears. As soon as the earring's are in place the two characters are pulled together and a new character is created. Unlike the Fusion dance, the two fighters do not have to be close in body size, the same race or power level. When the fighters fuse, their clothing changes to a combination of the two fighters wardrobe. In addition the Potara Earrings act as a power-up,which explains why Vegetto had the power of Super Saiya-jin 3 in Super Saiya-jin 2 form.
