Papa 51 Productions!

Hello, and welcome to my Anime Music Video and Anime Fanfiction page. As you can see there aren't a lot of bells and whistles on this page. That is because I like fast loading pages without all the snazzy moving graphics that distract from the content. Here you will find my downloadable music videos, fanfiction and other projects. A few links as well. If some of the fics look familar, I used to be known as Bigbore on the old FFML.

Tumblin'

Music: "Addicted to Tumblin'"
Artist: Tim Weber
Anime: None--various shots of aerobatic aircraft
Synopsis: My first attempt at a music video. It came out really well, especially since I was only using Quicktime Pro at the time. I've kept a copy of this 45mb video, but won't be putting it up on this site as it is not an AMV. I hope to use this song in the future for a Macross Plus AMV.

Anything Goes Aviation

Music: My voice
Artist: Papa51
Anime: A quick fun little thing I did. Let me know what you think!(link below)
Download: Anything Goes Aviation!

Video Revenge

Music: none
Artist: not applicable
Anime: None--various shots of military aircraft and still pictures of 2 trucks and a plane.
Synopsis: My best friend doctored a pic of my then new Jeep and sent it to me. It was sufficiently disgusting to warrant a response. This video was mainly and excercise in editing as I combined videos of aircraft dropping bombs/shooting missles with still pictures of his pickup, his 4x4 and his Cessna (we are both pilots) along with still shots of text with exhortations that screwing around with me was a bad idea. I must say I did a good job cutting from the planes realeasing their weapons, to their targets to some explosions--especially since I was still working in quicktime!

The Good Ol' Boys

Music: "Good Ol' Boys" (The Dukes of Hazzard theme)
Artist: Waylon Jennings
Anime: Trigun
Synopsis: My first attempt at an Anime music video. I cast Vash and Wolfwood as the good ole boys. I tried to match the words in the song to the actions in the video. My first attempt in iMovie. Came out okay, but video quality was horrid. A good learning experience.

Macross Wolf

Music: Airwolf Theme
Artist: Unknown
Anime: Macross Plus
Synopsis: This video came out fairly well, except for some annoying helicopter sound effects that were in my source music. I have since found another CD without the sound effects, but it was a slightly different length, so I couldn't correct the video with out redoing it completely. Basically the video is a montage of fast cut aerial scenes from Macross Plus set to the Airwolf Theme.

Spike: The Fall Guy

Music: "The Fall Guy"
Artist: Lee Majors
Anime: Cowboy Bebop, Bubblegum Crisis (original), Golden Boy, Gundam Wing, Gunsmith Cats,Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ranma 1/2,Shamanic Princess, Tenchi Muyo (OAV),and Vandread
Synopsis: The first video I'm going to let see the light of day, outside of a few close friends. I like it. The song is a TV show theme from the Eighties about a stunt man. The thrust of the video is that Spike is a stuntman, and he never gets the girl despite making all the male lead actors look good. Let me know what you think! Made in iMovie it is in Quictime .mov Format and is 12 mb. Please leave an opionion at Anime Music Videos dot Org (link below)

Papa 51 Studios is just something I set up so I can share my anime music videos. I work with an 500mhz iMac using Quicktime pro and iMovie. My biggest issue is getting the compression set so the videos are web-viewable. Video Quality on the vids I host here is fair, to keep the video size down to something that might be easily downloadable. Please feel free to send me any emails regarding these vids--particularly about if you liked them or not. Thanks!
