Part I takes place in a city called Meretseger, Egypt. A Young woman, who has come from a poor family and is well known amongst the people of Meretseger. But because of her choice to fall in love with the Pharaoh, she has come across many enemies in and outside of the Palace. They have given her many titles and made her feel unwanted but she still holds strong. But how long can she hold out when it is an army against one?
Part II takes place after her go around with the People in Meretseger, the two famous terrors Shana and Asenia are now dead. Diabound was extracted from her leaving her soul sealed inside the Millennium Crystal but it can only stay in their for so long. One of her closest friends Maya, has seemed to betray Akeyana by seducing the Pharaoh while she was away fighting a war with Queen Teania against Prince Darien who burned down Ashta. After collecting Prince Darien's head she is lost and found by a young girl named Christ and taken back to The City of the Shepherds were she learns about the people and their history. Queen Teania and company are still searching for Akeyana, the Pharaoh is dealing with the destructive black orb and Bakura is patiently waiting to strike again.....
