How to join the NAC mailing list
For anyone to subscribe to the list, send a message to mailserv@titan.sfasu.edu with a blank subject and in the body of the message type:
subscribe NAC-ANIME-L
The subscriber will receive a couple of e-mail messages confirming the fact that they have successfully subscribed to the list.
To send a message to the list, address it to
NAC-ANIME-L@titan.sfasu.edu
and then the rest is just like any other e-mail message. (Please note that if you do not subscribe to the list first, you will not be able to send any messages to it.)
For anyone who uses Hotmail and Internet Explorer, they will need to make sure that they don't use "Rich Text Format" when sending the message to subscribe.
To make sure that they don't use "Rich Text Format," when composing the message to subscribe there is a drop-down box that initially says "Tools" above the message body.
In this drop-down box, look for "Rich Text Editor." If it says "Rich Text Editor ON," do nothing.
If it says "Rich Text Editor OFF," then click on those words to turn it off.
Once subscribed, subsequent messages to the list will not require any changes to this setting unless the person wants to unsubscribe.
