Naoko has been involved in various projects such as The Cherry Project and the recent one after Sailormoon, called PQ Angels. Shoujo material but none has eclipsed the enormous success of Sailormoon so far, an anime that ran for 5 years and 18 manga volumes. In 1986, while she was attending Kyoritsu Yakka (pharmacy) University, she made her debut as mangaka with "Love Call" which received "Nakayoshi New mangaka award." It was published in "Nakayoshi Deluxe" September 1986 issue. After the Sailormoon manga and anime ended Naoko moved on to make another manga that was probably about to become just as popular as Sailormoon. It was called "PQ Angels". Unforunatly, the manga was never completed so it was abandoned after December 1997 when she stopped working for Nakayoshi. Ever since Kodansha Lt. lost her transcripts she decided to find another pubilsher that would let her make a different kind of manga. After that she decided to make a biographcial manga called "Princess Naoko's Return to Society Punch" . She made 4 different rounds of it. She released it in a magazine called "Young You". This manga was aimed at an older audience then her mangas before. Now she is currently running a manga called, "Princess and Prince's Marriage Punch" which she does with her husband, Yoshihiro Togashi. Prince Yoshihiro and Princess Naoko No. 37-38 This was a dinky little 16 page doujinshi, small (about the size of a Jumbo PP card) and it only cost 100 yen. It's printed on plain black and white paper, with a glossy white paper cover. On the inside are a bunch of pictures relating to "what married life is like". Her husband (Yoshihiro Togashi) is represented as a dog, she's a bunny. Also, there is one "self portrait" of Naoko and her husband, and some extra glam shots of Hunter X Hunter (Yoshihiro's) Characters and one pretty one of Usagi. 2. Hunter X Hunter Notebook Colored cover of all the main characters. Pictures of the doggy on the inside of the notebook and covers. 3. Sailormoon Notebook Colored cover of Super Deformed (SD) Mako (with bunny ears, holding a bunny), SD Ami (with an egg on her head), SD Makoto (holding Luna), SD Rei (with tropical birds), and SD Venus (holding doggy Yoshihiro). 4. Togashi Kingdom Notebook (LoveLove Notebook) Yet another notebook with examples of what married life is like. In the background is an iMac and a Sony Playstation. 5. Sailormoon Artbook Volume Infinity The super-rare artbook, just the same as the other 5, but includes pictures drawn by Naoko (slightly racey Sailormoon pictures), and other pictures by famous artists (author of Marmalade Boy, author of Ah! Megami-sama, etc.) and voice actors."
