This is a great show! The Best of the Best! It is about a 14 year old girl named Kagome, who discovers an old well in her house. She then falls through it, ending up in Feudal Japan. Soon, she meets an old wome, Lady Kiyede, and shows her InuYasha, a half demon held to a giant tree by an arrow. Soon, she takes the arrow out of him, and breaks the spell. InuYasha then wants to kill her. But before he can do that, he must slay a serpant demon, that in fact, posesses the jewel of four souls. The Jewel of four souls is a jewel that dramaticaly increases a demons power. InuYasha wants to use it to become a full fleged demon. When he does slay the demon, kagome takes it. He chases her. Lady Kyede puts a necklace around his neck that has a spell on it through magic. When Kagome said the secret words, he fell flat on his face. Somewhere along the line, a giant raven demon thing takes the jewel. Kagome shoots it down with an arrow, but shaters the jewel into a million shards, which spread throughout the world.
They then set out to find the shards. Later you discover things about InuYasha's past, about how he was tricked out of his love with Kikyo and whatnot.
