The Tournament
Regional tournaments are always held in Swiss format, where no player is eliminated and the player with the best record at the end of is declared the winner. Each round consists of a best two-out-of-three duel, officiated by highly qualified judges.
Prizes
The main prize in a regional tournament is a seat at the national championships in June. However, we at Innovation Gaming think that doing well in such a competitive tournament deserves an even bigger prize, so we've decided to include the following:
First Place
Invitation to U.S. Nationals and one sealed twenty-four pack Invasion of Chaos booster box.
Second Place
Invitation to U.S. Nationals and twelve Invasion of Chaos booster packs.
Third Place
Invitation to U.S. Nationals and ten Invasion of Chaos booster packs.
Fourth Place
Invitation to U.S. Nationals and ten Invasion of Chaos booster packs.
Fifth-Eighth Place
Eight Invasion of Chaos booster packs each.
Additional prizes will be added depending on the number of players and announced before the start of the tournament.
