- Yu-Gi-Oh! packs are awarded for 1st place (4 packs) and 2nd place (2 packs).
Time Required

depending on whether you win the first round.
Entering the Tournament
- Sign up at the registration desk with your entry fee and UDE membership
number.
- If you don’t have a UDE membership number, you will be provided one
for free.
Time Limits
- Each round time limit is 40 minutes. Each match is best 2 out of 3 games.
- After drafting, each player has 20 minutes to make their deck from the draft
cards.
Drafting Rules
- Each player starts with 3 booster packs in front of them in the release
order of the sets.
- When the judge says “begin”, players open the first two packs
at the same time, combine all 18 cards, choose two cards and put them face
down on the table.
- Each player then passes the rest of the cards in the pack to the left (clockwise).
- Players continue drafting two cards at a time, until cards have run out.
- The next pack is opened and drafted; cards are passed right (counter-clockwise).
Playing Matches
- For a four-person match, there are two rounds: a semifinal and a final.
- Players play against the person they drafted two seats away from.
- If a player wins the semifinal round, he or she advances to the final round
and plays against the other match winner. The losing player is eliminated
and may participate in other tournaments.
- Players must report all match results to the tournament’s judge or
scorekeeper.
Special Rules
