Day DreamA land of greatness,A world of fantasy, Where knights slay dragons And all is as should be. Wake Up Frogs become princes, And lovely maidens are saved, In this grand realm ruled By Kings strong and brave Wake Up! Someone is calling, The domain disappears And I awaken to find I'm back among my peers. I frown as they laugh "Daydreaming again, eh?" More laughter and stares As one of them did say, "Face facts, you dreamer Open your eyes and see What reality is, Not what it was or could be." "Just leave her alone," Another one cut in, "She must be special, Able to live without sin" With those simple words They let the matter drop And all teasing and Laughing at me did stop.
