I personaly love this series, and although there is little in the way of charater deveopement there is somthing about the story that keeps you coming back.

Right now only 1-5 are avalible and i'm too lazey to find out when the 6th comes out ((i'll keep you posted))

The manga follows the owner of a pet shop in china town that sells rare pets. Each book fetuers the Count ((the owner)) and a "hard boiled dick" ((as the manga-ka calls him)) police officer. The count and the detective are basicaly the ONLY two characters present in evey book.

Detective Orocrt is obsesed with bringing down the pet shop because he thinks ((and rightly so)) that the count sells dangerus animals. Every pet has a contract, and if the things on the contract are broken the count canot be held resopnseable......but what fun is it if everyone obeyed the simple rules of the contacts?

Any lover of mythology must read this series!! From newly born dragons to rabid rabits, this series has it.

Naruto

Plot: 9/10
Character design: 8/10
Character development: 9/10

There are only three volumes of the manga out right now and the fourth is to be released this August. It follows the life of a boy ((naruto)) who was a demon who once destroyed the village. The adults who know who/what Naruto is hate him and make him life misserable and their children pick up the habit as well. The story picks up Naruto's last year in the beginer's ninja acadamy and follows him through on his path to become the "greatest ninja ever".

The style it's self is enough to make you want to buy it, and the comical side of the hard core plot line will keep you turning the pages. It's a must have for any true anime/manga fan.
