Support Materia
All
- All effects on paired Materia. Can find throughout the game, and can purchase at Fort Condor in Disc 3.
Elemental
- Adds Materia element to weapon or armor. You first get it from the mayor of Midgar if you guess correctly on the first try in his game.
Added Effect
- Adds Materia status to weapon or armor. You can get this in the Cave of the Gi.
MP Absorb
- Drains enemies' MP if attached orb damages. It's about 10% of the damage inflicted. Get this Materia at the Item Shop in Wutai (in the treasure chest).
HP Absorb
- Drains 10% of inflicted damage and adds to your HP. Get this at the cat house in Wutai.
Added Cut
- Attack when using attached orb. Get this at the Great Glacier.
MP Turbo
- Uses extra MP and increases the power of paired magic. Works well with Summons. Get this at the Whirlwind Maze.
Steal As Well
- Steals while using attached orb. Get in the Fire Cave in the Da-Chao Statue.
Magic Counter
- Counter with attached Green/Red. Get it as a Chocobo Racing Gift.
Final Attack
- Cast attached when character dies. Works well with Revive and Phoenix. Get this after winning the Boss Battle in Battle Square.
Quadra Magic
- Attached orb will randomly cast 4 times. Get this in the Materia Cave Northeast of Mideel. Requires River Chocobo.
Sneak Attack
- Cast attached orb at the beginning of the battle. Get this as a Chocobo Racing Gift.
Command Counter
- Counters with attached command Materia. Get this in the North Cave
