CPU QUIZ

Legend911 CPU Installation

Step 1.

Find the processor socket on the motherboard by identifying the white square circuit that has the large amount of pinholes in it. These holes are where you will place the processor in.

Step 2.

Pull up the tab that is laying to the side of white square circuit to open the pinholes for the processor placement. If you look closely you will see a triangle in one of the corners of the chip and one of the corners of the white square circuit.

Step 3.

Now, match these corners up and drop the processor into place. There should be no pushing of the processor into the slot because it is a zero insertion force (ZIF) socket that needs no pressure. If pressure is needed you have placed the processor incorrectly.

Step 4.

Once you have installed the processor, correctly lock it into place by pulling down the arm that you unlock the pinholes with in the beginning.
