::: News And Updates ::: Tuesday October 21st 2003 ::: Updates ::: The Amimated Gifs Section Has A Few Gifs In It, And The Are A Couple Movie Gifs In The Clips Section, But That Is About All I Have Had Time To Upload. No Images Or Clips Will Be Available For At Least A Couple Days, Sorry. ::: News ::: DBZ Budokai 2 has been announced to be released this December: It must be old news to most, but I had to mention it. Based on last year's PS2 hit, Budokai 2 improves on an already awesome game with more characters and better graphics. That's all I'm going to say about it... Unless I find out there will be a dual language option (Japanese and English voices) we will not be covering Budokai 2 here. I will post hi-res images once the game is released only because I have the tools to do it and because its Dragonball. This is not a knock on Dimps, the English voice crew who provides the voices for the game or Atari/Infograms. But this game is only being published here in the US for mass media consumption and not the hardcore fan. I do have other issues about promoting the game, but I'll just leave it at that. Bottom line: if you loved the first one, surly you'll love this one too. You can find great coverage of the game at Gamespot and Gamefaqs . Dragonball Z Movie Tuesday October 22nd 2003 " The Official Dragon Ball Z site (dragonballz.com) had this to say, about the upcoming DBZ Movie: "The heroes from your favorite series are headed to the big screen. 20th Century FOX announced the acquisition of feature film rights to the DragonBall property, and is planning for its studio division, FOX 2000, to develop a live action movie based on the property. This is very exciting news for Dragon Ball Z fans. FUNimation Vice President and Producer Daniel Cocanougher had this to say: FUNimation is very excited to be working with FOX in their production of a live-action Dragon Ball Z Feature Film. FOX plans to place this movie on a fast-track production schedule, and may have a movie released as production schedule, and may have a movie released as early as Fall 2003 or Summer 2004. FOX is an excellent movie studio, producing such huge hits as X-Men and Star Wars, among many others. They feel that this project will not end with one movie, but will become a major, multi-picture franchise like Star Wars. Clearly, this is a remarkable upward turning point for the Dragon Ball Z property. It will also be very interesting for all Dragon Ball Z fans to try to predict the names of the stars, the director and producers, and the storyline that will be used." To the right here is a promo banner for the movie". ~Jackie Chan is indeed likely to star in the live-action DBZ movie. |
