Nevaeh was born a human many, many years ago. When she died a mortal's death, her soul was sent to heaven where she met the Angels of God and God Himself. Her soul remained in heaven for a very long time, although time doesn't matter in heaven so there's no real way of telling how long it was. But she was happy and she was at peace. However, God saw something in her that made her special. He knew that in her life on earth, she was a very intelligent and spirited human being. She loved life and everyone around her. She was compassionate and thoughtful, so He decided to give her a new purpose in her eternal life - that of a Guardian Angel. God prepared her for her task to come and explained all that she would be doing. He told Nevaeh that her mission would be to go back to earth as a Guardian Angel and protect someone whom she had never met. In fact, God never told her who she would be guarding and protecting, except that when the time came God told told her that she would know who the person was when she saw them. She knows nothing about this person or whether it's a man or woman. All that she knows is that she must fulfill her quest to find this person and watch over them, for their life is in great peril and must be protected from evil. Because she lost all knowledge and memory of her life on earth, Nevaeh feels somewhat like a newborn on earth, only with powers and knowledge that God gave her for her mission. She doesn't know how old she is or where she came from. She doesn't even know her name. She was given the name "Nevaeh" during her Rite of Guarding ceremony where she was given wings and heavenly powers.
